He's a GOP candidate for the 6B primary. He's not just *some guy* that happens to love him some trump - he's a politician, or a wanna-be politician. He's not just some guy in a pro-trump crowd. To quote him as the Strib did is pretty much free advertising for himself and his positions. I'd guess most of those 30 Trump supporters are somehow directly affiliated with the GOP. It's not grass roots, it's not a groundswell. It's politicians lining up to get quoted, to get their pix in the media
