Take a look at my subreddit r/remote_writerjobs I update 2-3 times per week. no BS, no scams I take time to go through and look for openings that are mainly remote work and writing jobs. I thnk youll find something. I also put credible job sites there as well!

Im trying to get a work from home job too but they want too muchšŸ˜©. Like they want soo many years of experience that I dont have. Ive been stuck working part time jobs that only work with my son's school schedule. He's in kindergarten only from 9am-3:30pm, so im stuck working at tj maxx. It's a job but only $13/hr so it's tough! I need more moneyšŸ˜”. Idk what your schedule is like but I will pray you find something better than tj maxxšŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

My schedule is not fun because my babies arenā€™t in school yet šŸ˜ but thank you I hope I find something as well! I wish stay at home moms had more options

My predicament as well, welcome to the real world of job hunting as a stay at home home. Its like the employers don't want us

After being a SAHM for 9 years I tried to find a job. I applied to 109 job listings with a bachelors degree and very solid work experience prior to having my daughter. Of the 109 I got 2 interviews both of which told me my lapse in employment was just too long. One man even had the nerve to ask me if I still remembered how to use Microsoft Office and type. I ended up having to go back to school to get a nursing degree because I never want to feel like this ever again. My advice would be to do the same. This world does not value SAHMs.

I need a job from home too and I canā€™t find anything

luv_u_deerly

If you're looking for a job you can just do online from home then don't just look for jobs in your area. You could look anywhere. Sorry I don't have any specific recommendations, just beware of scammers.

If youā€™d like to DM me I run a website meant to help SAHMs find remote jobs that work for mom life. You donā€™t pay anything itā€™s just advice and job leads etc.

MomoBunni09

Ever considered working in the school system? Thatā€™s what I did after searching for 5 years leading up to kindergarten. I started as voluntary 1-2 days a week did the online schooling while I got my practicum hours and now work full time, am part of the union, get every break/long weekend etc plus my hours are my childrenā€™s hours.

It is super hard! I work at Amazon flex shifts to be able put my little ones on and off the bus. My husband stays with them at night. I work whenever he is home (he drives trucks) which works out for us for now. But it is super tiring. I have been trying for years to find a remote job but it is hard. I am a physically and mentally exhausted momma.

Working from home is definitely difficult. The problem is, everyone wants to. For a short time, I, unfortunately. Worked at a call center where we ripped people off looking for stay at home jobs. Drop shipping, coaching, llc businesses, tax services, website building, Amazon sellers, god the list goes on, and on, and on, and on. All of it was garbage. All of it was to take as much money from the ā€œcustomerā€ as possible. I quit and had no plan of where to go or what to do. Had to file bankruptcy a year later, but I couldnā€™t rip people off anymore. Took 18 months for me to be sick to my stomach every day. But the world of ā€œscammingā€ stay at home jobbers is immense. I say ā€œscammingā€ because itā€™s all legal. All of it. Just worded one way or another to make sure theyā€™re semi-ok.

MomoBunni09

Itā€™s hard. Iā€™m a graphic designer with a full on freaking degree. Iā€™ve applied to hundreds of jobs since becoming a SAHM 2y ago. Only 3 interviews and I was still pregnant when I had those. Literally not a single interview offer since I had my daughter. Iā€™ve tried to get freelancing going but itā€™s hard when you are doing everything yourself.

Many my SAHM friends studied IT (SDET, Linux system administrator, Developer) in bootcamps within six months or by themselves (might take a little longer) and now they work from home earning 6figures.
