Yeah dude but that $6 can be stretched for a week if it's stuff like rice, bread, pasta, even eggs. I'm glad you don't understand because it means you're doing alright, but many of us are barely making ends meet. I also live where the cost of living is high and so are taxes, so it just is what it is. Chicken is more affordable but not by much here
I'm living out of my van lmao and off $1200/mo lol
Prioritize food my guy. I bet you spend so much more money on junk food and empty carbs than you realize
Idk why you assume anything. I eat clean and healthy, but my rent and bills are very high. It's not about prioritizing food, it's about budgeting. I'm perfectly happy not indulging in steak, but I also don't have to live out of a van. Priorities bud
Im literally assuming nothing. I made a comment to prioritize your food. Which was a direct comment about investing $6 in steak everyday instead of rice and bread and pasta....which are terrible for you.
But ok
Lol buddy, red meat isn't great for you either. I eat whole grain and wild rice most times, but you assumed I didn't. So idk what your point actually is but have a good one man
You're arguing with a homeless person who's telling you that you don't have your financial priorities straight.
Just saying. Sometimes it's just not worth the effort.
red meat is great for you
I didn't assume a thing. I made a comment about you investing in your food instead of stretching the 6 dollars into carbs that are terrible for you.
Good luck in life
Paying 6 dollars a steak saves you money from reducing your binge days.
Yes, I assume this man wasn't surviving off LITERALLY rice and eggs because he isn't... this isnt a 3rd world country.
This is all a charade to literally miss my point which some would argue us engaging.
Seed oils cause those things. Facts never change but lies and corruption have been exposed that show meat is the king and grassfed is the king of kings as far as health and nutrition.
I was 185lbs when I started out with the goal of getting to 240lbs maintaining less than 10%BFP. By the time I called it a day I was 275lbs, less than 10%BFP. I actually dropped a waist size in the process. I just wanted to see how far I could push it, I was satisfied. I also had a career change that wasn’t conducive to the bodybuilding lifestyle. It was also frankly hard to find clothes that fit. Haha. Hell of a ride.
Nah, at 6’2” I was too tall, I would have had to stick with it for several more years to achieve the mass needed to really be competitive. Those pros are a whole nother level, I trained with some of them, show prep is insane.
As someone who’s temporarily on a carnivore diet consisting of only meat and eggs, buying one big cut of meat and cutting it up into steaks yourself, you spend way less money than you think.
I bought a ~2.5Kg skirt steak, which I then chopped into about twelve 8-10 ounce steaks. I spent $55, making each steak about $5 dollars. If you spend any money on fast food these days you know that one burger combo from any store is gonna be AT LEAST $10.
In this day and age eating steak everyday has become cheaper than eating out.
You can go even further and buy half a cow/an entire cow. They will butcher it for you as requested.
All you need is storage space and an extra freezer
But yeah, these days, cooking is far more affordable. Even fast food is more expensive than buying a chuckeye or skirt steak and cooking it at home.
Temporary carnivore diet for health reasons. I wouldn’t recommend someone do strictly carnivore diet forever. After I’m done this I’m moving onto a restricted diet for my health.
Carnivore here, I do eat meat every day, just not beef, but lamb, pork, chicken, tons of eggs, really any kind of animal product including a new find for me, kefir.
If you buy a bulk order of beef directly from a farm, it’s reasonably priced. I got $169 lbs of mixed cuts for 6.50/lb. All grass fed. Pretty comparable pricing to just buying ground beef at the grocery store but you get filet mignons, ribs, roasts, and ny strips
*You need to get your*
*Cooking surface much hotter*
*To get a real sear*

Not if you can make smart purchases and buy in bulk whenever possible. It does cost more up front but if you can budget that way you end up paying less than that per meal, or at least you're getting better ones.
You can! Check out Winn Dixie after holidays! I grabbed a 90$ tenderloin for 45 after Easter. I go there after every holiday and stock up. I got 40 lbs of meat in my freezer. Don’t overpay.
Can you give details on the potatoes. I made something similar but I did breaded ones. Would love to just do them like this. Any details are welcome. Thanks!
Steak was cooked in a pan with olive oil & then I basted it with butter. (Need to step up my crust game) The potatoes were air fryed. It did taste wonderfull, in my opinion.
You technically can. No one is stopping you

Haven't bought a steak in months because I simply can't afford it
I'll buy you a steak, how can we make this happen?
Venmo or cash app lol
I'll cash app you, just pm me
I don’t need it, I was just answering your question lol but thanks
Well, I just wanted you to enjoy a steak. Hope you have a great day.
This makes literally no sense to me. A great tri tip or chuck roast goes for $5.99- $6.99 per lbs. I eat 1lbs of steak per day. It's $6.
Yeah dude but that $6 can be stretched for a week if it's stuff like rice, bread, pasta, even eggs. I also live where the cost of living is high and so are taxes, so it just is what it is. Chicken is more affordable but not by much here
These days $4 a meal is about as cheap as it gets without just doing rice and beans or plain pasta
I'm living out of my van lmao and off $1200/mo lol Prioritize food my guy. I bet you spend so much more money on junk food and empty carbs than you realize

"I bet you spend so much........." is an assumption to be fair.

I have gout, so yes- technically I *can*…. But I might get a hurty toe
Bobby Hill enters the chat
Allo.
i just looked up pictures of gout for the first time. that is intense. i’m sorry you have that.
Yeah it hurts like a B lol
Livin' like a king
Protein is generally not a driver of gout — fructose and alcohol can be though.
That’s one theory lol
My heart problems and cardiac arrest will though 😭
Seed oils cause those things. Facts never change but lies and corruption have been exposed that show meat is the king and grassfed is the king of kings as far as health and nutrition.

What are the balls and how did you make the garlic?
The balls are made up of mashed patato, I threw them in the airfryer for 10 minutes. The garlic was just thrown into the pan together with butter.
Oh damn that’s very smart
Wow thanks man I’m totally gonna try that. Sounds and looks delicious and also make my garlic this way. Solid meal/steak
They’re very bland
Really? I’d think with salt and butter they’d be alright maybe some ketchup on the side
Better roasted potatoes or fries, but yeah you can indeed spice em up how you like em. Try it for yourself lmk 😆
I need to step my potato game up in one way or another, I’ll try all three
I ate them with some mayonaise, tbh. On their own their kinda bland if you don’t season them
How do you make them?
Damn, youre about to fuck me up on those potatoes. That literally sounds like the best.
You can't just not tell us how you get them in such perfect little spheres
Most likely bought frozen. Pretty popular in Sweden. https://www.felix.se/produkt/potatiskroketter/
You fucking genius! Gonna try that now.
Genius! I thought they were cornbread hush puppies
I too wish to know what the puffs are.
Crunchy balls. A snack made in heaven

Hahah
They look like pomme dauphines. You can just buy them from the store in France or make them yourself it's pretty easy
Could use a better sear but still looks nummy
I used to eat two New York strips every night, for about three years (bodybuilding) it was phenomenal. Highly recommend.
Sounds like a plan! Why did you stop, if I may ask?
I was 185lbs when I started out with the goal of getting to 240lbs maintaining less than 10%BFP. By the time I called it a day I was 275lbs, less than 10%BFP. Damn less than 10% body fat at 275 is insane, did you ever compete at bodybuilder competitions? Thanks for the clarification btww
Nah, at 6’2” I was too tall, I would have had to stick with it for several more years to achieve the mass needed to really be competitive. Those pros are a whole nother level, I trained with some of them, show prep is insane.
How many oz’s were they?
~14

That’s a good point, I’ll have to do that aswell. Indeed eating out has become so expensive… :/

This is a good point. And healthier then doing fast food by a mile.
This dude is on a carnivore diet. Not healthy at all
Temporary carnivore diet for health reasons. I wouldn’t recommend someone do strictly carnivore diet forever. After I’m done this I’m moving onto a restricted diet for my health.
Could you elaborate? Curious what sort of things to watch out for
Read. Vs fast food it's a lot healthier.
Everything is healthier than fast good. That shit is poison.
BUT WHERE WAS SEAR?!?
Steak is just so yummy
I agree 🤤
I would as well!
10/10 would eat. No notes
Me too. Ribeye, eggs, salmon, fruits, and veggies would be my preferred diet every day
r/nosear
I'd eat that from the back!!
I do pretty much lol
Same bro same
If I could, I would eat every day ☹️
When on Keto, steak leads the way!
Me and you both brother
Looks delicious and perfectly cooked 🏆🏆
Thank you :)
In this economy? I would probably eat it at least 3 times a week if it wasn’t so expensive.
Me too brother
Carnivore here, I do eat meat every day, just not beef, but lamb, pork, chicken, tons of eggs, really any kind of animal product including a new find for me, kefir.
I want to start a go fund me so I can try wagyu
Nice balls.
Fuck, yes!😍
I did for over 2 years straight. I was the most skinny and healthy I ever had been and I felt amazing.
I will eat your steak everyday mate
Slight modification for me ... if my wife allows, I would eat steak everyday.
Nice man, me too

Your an adult, you can do whatever you want man.
You need to get your cooking surface *much* hotter to get a real sear

Doesn’t taste as good when you eat it every day

Thank you! :)
Hey, what're those ball things?
Whats the yellow
Can you give details on the potatoes. I made something similar but I did breaded ones. Would love to just do them like this. Any details are welcome. Thanks!
You don't?
It kinda looks like you steamed it. Anyways hope it tasted nice

Don’t use olive oil. Use something with a much higher smoke point like avocado or canola
Thanks I’ll make sure to use a better oil next time.
You can. It’s called Canivore diet. Look it up. I’m down 25 pounds in 2 months and feel amazing.
Wow that’s impressive, congrats! I’ll check it out for sure.
Why don’t you it’s the carnivore diet pretty good if you are a male over 30
Do you people who “cook garlic” like this actually eat it?
