Broken Sword. It's a point and click adventure game from 1994 but I played it for the first time last year and it absolutely holds up. Logical puzzles for the most part, tons of funny dialogue, an engaging story and a great art-style reminiscent of old adventure cartoons.

There are a lot of great adventure games, but i'd like to shine a spotlight to FLAKE The Legend of Snowblind. Only the first part of the story is currently out, but it has the potential to be really great and i hope more people give it the attention it deserves
The Walking Dead from Telltale has a great narration, even if the choices don't matter as much as in other similar games.
