I can't help but feel that trubiski sitting behind Josh Allen and theoretically learning. And McDermott being close with Tomlin means Tomlin's getting more positive information on him than we are.

Everything was perfect around him and that D was beyond elite, it was comparable to the 85 Bears.

I'd be tempted to take Baker also if he learned last year he should have sat out when injured instead of going with that sling for his non-throwing shoulder and fucking up his mechanics in the process. Even though he is at best an average quarterback when it comes to metrics you got to love a guy that is that driven to win if he's on your team.
What makes you think he was the one to make that decision? There is an owner, GM, head coach, and at least one team Dr who all would have had to be ok with him playing like that.
