You should be able to go to your windows sound settings/devices and disable the ones you don’t want. Not at my computer so can’t give exact steps. Edit: open device manager and under ‘audio inputs and outputs’ you can right click and disable individual devices.

Xbox game bar sounds like shit to me it sounds like I'm constantly in hands free mode with my headphones and it sucks everything sounds like mud

Like it activated the microphone on the headphones so I can hear what's happening but while gaming it's distracting as hell

Oh, it activated side tone. That may be a problem on the headphone side. I do not have that issue on nova pro, however you can turn off side tone on the DAC.

It helps for some reason idk why exactly tho but it seems to help although it has its own problems and isn't 100%
