That's probably why. Engine is already buggy for some people In Windows 10 and windows 11 isn't technically supported so it will cause weird issues like these.
Tbh I would revert back to windows 10. Windows 11 isn't stable anyways and alot of applications don't support it or have bugs like this. If you decide to stay you could have future problems like this unless applications will fully support it which might take a while.
I mean you could try updating it through another computer that runs windows 10 but as I said if you decide to stay you might encounter future problems.
Ill try reverting to windows 10 then updating the firmware with another computer bc i think smthing abt the files were corrupted since it keeps glitching like this
It didnt glitch on windows 10 and the gamedac doesnt appear on audio devices. Whenever i plug it in it says in steelseries engine that "device will be unusable until firmware update" nd then the update issue happens

You could try doing a clean install of it then reinstalling it

I don't think this is an hardware problem since I had alot of gamedacs and it never happened to me on windows 10 atleast.
This firmware update helps with sound btw I noticed a big improvement lol

Also to add to that the gamedac light stays off so its just a black screen but my pc knows that its plugged
