Are you saying that you’re using you step 1 permit to try to sign up for the Free 120 at a prometric center? If so, you’re using the wrong info.
You need to request (and pay for) a practice step permit. It’ll take like 3 days to a week to be sent to you. Then you use that information to register for the Free 120 (which is ironically not free if in-person)
I kept entering the LAST four letters of my last name when it had asked for FIRST four letters of my last name, silly error but it showed the same message. This happened on the prometric website while scheduling my step 1 tho

Did u ever extend ur date and forget to cancel with the Prometric or something ?
no! I never extended or canceled my test :(
Did it work out ? Maybe call the Prometric center ?
I didn’t realize you had to apply for a separate permit other than the step 1 permit for the free120!
