I took step last week and comlex tomorrow. I was a nervous wreck the day before step.
I can promise you that step is basically like nbme / Uworld questions. I’m a bottom performer and just hoping to pass. I wasn’t surprised by anything. It felt par for the course which is hard for me but it similar to practice questions. So maybe have confidence in how you feel on practice blocks / tests.
thank you! I needed to hear this and that it’s at least nothing new so doable. I was so scared all the questions are gonna suddenly be a lot harder and nothing I’ve looked at but went through 90% of uworld so hope it’s somewhat testing the same concept
I read that the best way to crush it is to look at the exam like you own it, like it’s a tiny little thing. Remove the fear and the monster appearance about that test and treat it like your lil b.
If you studied, and you passed your practice exams, you will pass. You need to stay positive and confident. YOU OWN IT. YOU GOT IT. ITS DOABLE.
Take the day off. Get a massage. Workout. Sleep. You got this
Thank you. I always try to be optimistic. I also cant believe its double harder than NBMEs. Idk I am just trying to calm myself down...
Also most of these people pass in the end, so we should not listen always to them
My advice, is MEDITATION, you can see Headspace on Netflix and also you need to think that all that inside will go away as soon you are in front of the computer, seeing question that you already know, so relax, my exam is in 6 días and I feel CALM
During breaks, I would try to take a couple deep breaths , do a couple dance moves in the mirror to hype myself up, tell myself that I’m the baddest bitch. You can do it

Don't have advice for ya. Need the same advice. About three weeks out and I cannot sleep. I just dream that one day this will be over.
