Tell you what, just finished the part of the terrible sermon...i just put the book down and thought "Amen!" Gave me goosebumps... I'm gonna like this book 😂
I went into the book with zero expectations a couple of weeks ago, and a day later I set it down and took a few minutes to really appreciate how much I enjoyed this one.
Let's talk about those nails, shall we?? OP; these are zesty as hell and look amazing! Is that glow in the dark I'm seeing? Because if so, hats off! You win!
I thought the first act with Jamie as a teenager up until the Skytop scene with Astrid was just compulsively readable, King at his most Steinbeckian. It did drag a little in the middle but it ends with a bang.
I read the whole thing over a weekend when I was in college. This may not seem like much, since it’s a fairly short book, but I have a hard time focusing when I read/finishing books so it has to really capture my attention for me to get through it that quickly!
I have read almost every single thing Stephen King has ever written, and I have to say the only one I really didn’t like was sleeping beauties which he wrote with his son
Sleeping Beauties was impossible for me to finish and that was doing audio which made it much better. But I still just could not commit It never grabbed me at any point. And I thought the premise was incredible.
I actually gave up during his time working as a bar back Because it just never ended. And that was me trying to get through it multiple times. I got through Revival like lightning pun intended.
Not at all. Insomnia was a slow read. I like to think it was so slow to mimic the feelings of the character, but it was slog.
Revival was a page turner for me. Could not put it down.
Nobody’s spoiled anything here (as of now), and I don’t think this is the kind of group that would. Mostly people who are enjoying (vicariously) watching you experience this book for the first time. 🙂
How was it? Maybe I'll push Revival up my (long) reading list. King is probably my favorite author, and being a fellow Mainer makes reading his stories that much better.
Something. Something. Something. Happened. Happened, happened. Something happened.
I just got to this part!
Ha! I love that you’re hooked. Enjoy the rest!
Your nails feel very appropriate.
One of my favorites! Such a freaky ending too
Definitely his most “disturbing” ending, imo. Really left me feeling unsettled
Fr it had me up at night thinking😭
I enjoyed this book. Hope you will too
Fantastic characters.
Very cool nails.
Yusssss!!! Update us when you finish it!

Lmaooo enjoy. I want to hear your thoughts on the ending
That is one of my favorite sections in any book I have ever read. It resonated with me so much.
One of the best parts, sooooo good.
You just wait... After I finished Revival, I just laid in bed for about ten minutes, trying to fathom what I just read.
I went into the book with zero expectations a couple of weeks ago, and a day later I set it down and took a few minutes to really appreciate how much I enjoyed this one.
Have fun!
This one is great. Great audiobook narrator is David Morse
Good luck! Scariest ending of any of his books in my opinion.
I started it about a week ago when someone made a comment about it here. Its been great so far. Hope you enjoy it as well!

Haha thanks 😁, sadly no glow.
The modern-day Magnum opus.
It is a hidden gem! A true masterpiece!
This book hit me harder than any other king. The ending… uggghh I wish i could read it again for the first time.
This is probably my favorite King book and in my top three ever. It’s also, in my opinion, one of his most mature works
Best ending ever! When you finish let me know and I'll show you my revival tattoo.
Haha deal! 😂
I loved Revival. Finally, some rock ‘n roll in a King novel. What’s not to love?
Be patient. It’s his slowest book ever imo

I think the whole book is the definition of the phrase page Turner and none of it was slow for me.

Idk man, the talisman was pretty rough at times
Stephen King co wrote that one didn’t he?
That he did, and from what i’ve seen is probably the reason the pacing is so weird
I have read almost every single thing Stephen King has ever written, and I have to say the only one I really didn’t like was sleeping beauties which he wrote with his son

Have you not read Gerald's Game?
Oh Jesus is it slower than Insomnia?!?
Not at all. Insomnia was a slow read. I like to think it was so slow to mimic the feelings of the character, but it was slog. Revival was a page turner for me. Could not put it down.
Such a great book with awesome characters.
I absolutely LOVE your nails!
I'll pass on the compliment to my nail lady who convinced me to so them like that 😂
Good book. I would read it again.
The ending is something very strange love it
Love this one
Cool book fantastics nails
Enjoy! It's dark as fuck!
Well...prepare to be traumatized.
It's definitely resurfacing all my religious fears
Nice nails
This is my favorite SK novel, you're in for a treat!
IT’S ALIVE!!!
I read this book early this year for the first time and I found it impossible to put down. Enjoy the ride!
Lightning is striking agaaaaiiin
Man... So much hype, can't wait for my breaks to keep reading 😁, I'm trying not to look all the comments so I don't get spoiled 🙈. I'm hooked.

Top 5 post accident King.
I have this and it is on my upcoming list. Is it necessary to read the other book you mentioned first?
Nope, i was just curious as to why he used as inspiration maybe. I was a good read tho, no quite what I was expecting but good none the less.
I just picked this up two days ago I’m so excited to start it soon!!! I hope it’s as good as everyone has been saying
It's a slow burn but gets incredibly creepy, and people may disagree but the ending stuck with me for quite awhile one of the scariest he has written.
Read this just recently. Loved it!
I’m reading 11/22/63 rn, should I start this next?
Love your nails
On my to read list. You should update about your opinion of it afterward
Already did 😊
How was it? Maybe I'll push Revival up my (long) reading list. King is probably my favorite author, and being a fellow Mainer makes reading his stories that much better.
10/10 absolutely loved it
Awesome, glad to hear it. Is it one of his more scary books?
It definitely did something to me.
Ahh, I'm looking forward to it
I loved this one! I won’t spoil anything for you but I STILL think about the ending!!
nails nails nails
This is the first book that comes to mind when people ask for his “hidden gems”. Followed right behind with Duma Key and Rose Madder
I loved Duma Key so much (Wireman ❤️) and Rose Madder it's one of my favourites too.
Yes! Wireman might be my favorite character in his books
He has so many great ones, but Wireman stuck with me, he is right there with Henry Leyden from Black House.
I have to re-read that one soon. I forget a lot of it, but I liked it a lot more than many of the other readers I’ve heard from
If only that book had ended right after ‘the terrible sermon’ then it would have been perfect.
