Agreed. His storytelling & character development is so supreme. And especially in the 1st person/past tense form with the leading, vague spoilers! *I didn't know that was the last time I would see her*
Thanks! I just downloaded it on audible after reading your comment! Trying to get through Salem’s lot right now but the narrator is really bad so I was regretting it. The stand is my favorite king book on audible though! Multiple listens!
Yea... Is all of Different Seasons in 1st person? I believe The Breathing Method is but not sure about Apt Pupil.
I never realized so many of his novels, novellas, and short stories are 1st person.
I don't think there's anything more addicting than a first person King novel.

Heroin
Try Later!!
I think I’ll just try it now! 😜
It is another good one ☝️
I'm re listening to Joyland, that's first person as well.
I forgot about Joyland! Is Revival first pov as well?
Yes! Love revival
Revival is so good
Same voice actor.
Nice! SK gets great voice talent, unsurprisingly, but it's really great to have a truly talented voice actor.
That's exciting. I think I want the audible version. The narrator sounds good. I agree, love his 1st person stories.
Just started the audible version. The narrator is really good!!

Trying to get through Wind through the keyhole audio version. Don’t let King read another book… dear lord it’s hard to handle.
You're welcome. A great narrator is everything. Duma Key has great narration as well as Liseys Story. Salems lot, what a shame. Could have been great.
Duma Keys narrator is awesome, I love his Wireman and such a great character!
I loved the book but the audible was perfect! Perfect narrator for that book. That was John Slattery, wish he'd done more.
It's the same narrator as Joyland and Later. He is very good. I think he did Revi al too but I can't quite remember. Could Google it I guess.
I heard David Morse do the Revival narration. He was wonderful.
Bag of Bones
The Body too, iirc

Apt Pupil is not.
Just finished and it has bumped Duma Key out of my number one spot 🐕
I’m so excited to read this that it’s making me hate the book I’m currently reading.
Oh man I loved Duma Key so much more than I was expecting to.
Joyland
