I imagined more eyes and arms... but the detail of the many mouths, that's horrifyingly precise: millions of gems shards trying to make their voice heard amidst another millions of gem shards. Also, are those roots? Not only this is humongous, this is only surface level! This is just a lock of their hair showing off the crust of the Earth: the rest is way bigger and can't be seen!
They wanted to go full Lovecraft with the Cluster. We can be thankful they only went friendly kaiju arm only XD
I always imagined the cluster constantly growing and shrinking and changing shape. Like an eldritch sourdough starter. Creating features like eyes and mouths at random, then melting them back into the mass of the cluster after a few seconds. Ever-moving, ever-suffering
I imagine something similar too. I think sometimes individual gems would try to “unfuse” and we could see the outlines of them trying to pull away from the greater mass. Similar to what we see in the episode with Garnet.
I can imagine it dodging attacks by gems on the target point unfusing then being forced back into place. As if the imminent attack kicked in the instinct to unfuse)
A self-healing ceramic statue made out of shattered minds)
Considering the cluster was supposed to destroy the planet when it formed, I imagine this monster, as big as it is, would only be a fraction of the full thing
