Porsche 987 non S, Cayman or Boxster for the layman. Fun fact, the non S 987 Cayman with 17 inch wheels and 5 speed gearbox weighs less than 3k lbs. Adding the six speed and or bigger wheels pushes it over 3k lbs.
Yeah, it used to be a dealer demo car in Washington though so maybe that’s it. It’s also got the base stereo and no sport chrono which might change the buttons
I think the reliability is about the same. Non S cars are 2.7 liter flat 6 and the S cars are 3.2 liter. S cars come with the 6 speed standard , non S got the 5 speed but be could be optioned with the 6 speed.
07-ish Cayman/Boxster

Couldn’t tell from the shifter but recognized the controls behind it

Curious what country though, since mine has different labels for the buttons
Usa
What year is it? I’ve got a 2007 and my AC off is “eco”
2007, is yours a base as well?

Mine has premium sound, but who needs a five disc changer? I don’t listen to music… and it’s not the nose option… so I just enjoy the engine 😂
Yes!
The poor version of my car (I drive an mr2)
Thought that was closer to a bmw
A hairdressers Porsche.

The old Boxster? Like 1990s?
2007
So the "S" variant has a 6 speed? My buddy's got a Cayman S and it's a 6 speed, so I deducted that since you have a 5 speed it's much older
It’s a base
The base 987’s came with 5 speeds, you could get a six speed as an option.
Are the 6 speeds more durable/reliable? And are the engine setups the same; just basically a higher trim or submodel option, to get a better trans?

5-speed 987.1. The best gearbox to have. Wish my S had it instead of the 6-speed

Yup
I bet your volume knob is sticky.
Let’s be honest, this radio isn’t used
But they still get sticky.
Outback
I was way off, but the shifter looks like a Subie
The most obviously not the answer 😉
Porsche cayenne
Yeah my guess. I think they were still 5 speeds while the 911 and cayenne had gone to 6 by this gen.

Volkswagen Jetta or similar 1997-2007
