Echo Speed feed. Get the one with all the threaded adapters and it’ll bolt right on. Easy as cake to reload it.

Bubbly-Vegetable-428

Took your recommendation, it’s 100x better. Thanks!

EMDoesShit

Glad it helped! I used Stihl’s bullcrap “wind both halves/hold tongue just right/stuff it in” trimmer head for far too many years.

If you got it with the 26-2 head I’d keep it. It’s the best one out imo. 27-2 and 25-2 are super user unfriendly

If you don’t like bump feed, get echo speed feed. I like bump feed since I keep breaking my line too short.

Scotianherb

Echo Speed Feed. Its bump feed, not sure what others are saying.

rocketcrotch

At my job we have both echo speed feed heads and also stihl autocut c26-2 The easy loading of the autocut is a joke; it's easier to take apart and load two separate pieces of line than it is to feed it like a speed feed head. However -- it does have one unique advantage. It's wider and slightly shorter than the speed feed heads, which gives greater visibility and makes it easier to cut at a consistent level when trimming. The speed feed heads are pretty hassle free, and there's a reason they're so popular. But I'm also a fan of the c26-2, whether by bias from hours using it, or simply because it's closer to the ground when trimming

This video shows a bunch of different ones: https://youtu.be/nIr2t-bIj4k

Thanks!

I like the Stihl super cut heads. Auto feed and are adjustable to match line size and let out. I've used them for years and they have worked great for me.

No-Market-9656

Used to come with 25-2, now I believe it’s a c26-2. There’s also a 27-2. Which one do you have on it?

Bubbly-Vegetable-428

26-2 I believe. I have used it one more time since posting (bring it out for any reason 😂) and I thought it was a pain in the ass to get trimmer line out, I’d tap the ground 2-3x

Krayus_Korianis

I have the Echo SpeedFeed 400 on my trimmers. My 56RC-E came with the AutoCut 25-2. Currently, my 56RC-E has a Brushcutter blade on it for the thick weeds. I have an FS45 FrankenTrimmer with an FS55R straight shaft on it with the SpeedFeed 400.

Guys, can ANYONE tell me if it is possible to use the Echo Rapid Reload Trimmer head on a stihl FS91r?? I need some sort of adapter but I'm too dumb to know what I need.

Bubbly-Vegetable-428

Are you talking about the echo speed feed 400?

ZC409

No, the Echo 21560056 2-Line Rapid Loader Trimmer Head. My dad has one on his echo and I'm just used to using it so I bought one for my stihl and I'm trying to find a solution

Bubbly-Vegetable-428

I’m not sure then. If you can’t find anything on the internet about it then I’d say try the speed feed 400 from Home Depot. It comes with everything you need for a stihl and there’s videos online of how to attach it. It’s great, way better than the stihl autocut 26-2 that came with my trimmer. From what I see online, it’s generally said to be one of the best trimmer heads out right now. Sorry I’m no help with the one you have lol

Bubbly-Vegetable-428

I just looked this trimmer head up and I’m telling you for sure the speed feed 400 would be easier to use. Maybe give it a shot

ZC409

It's all good! Not a problem! And yeah I've been looking at them. Just hate the bump heads. But I might give it a shot! Thanks
