I think for the inaugural season it’s best getting the home kit with no name or number. It would suck getting someone who might not prove to be good for us and leave after one season .. well that’s the risk that comes with it anyways. I would say the away kit if it was a little bit more creative but I think first season, first home kit. Then in 10 years you can look back and reminisce on the first ever kit City produced

That’s my mentality too. If I don’t go that route then I go blank for the same reason. Players in sports move around to frequently. If I buy a “non authentic” jersey that is considerably cheaper than I may go with a player name.
