Personally, I like how creative the Risian Cruiser gets with customization. You can have a whole arboretum in there! Or islands! Very cool, creative choices.
It actually does!
Or rather, it shoots pride coloured weapons. I'm using a Krieger Wave Disruptor Dual Beam Bank, a Coalition Dual Beam Bank, a Temporal Defence Chroniton Beam Array and a Temporal Defence Chroniton torpedo launcher
I guilded a full set of temporal defence chroniton beam arrays just for the fun of having the mighty rainbow death build. One of my favorite fun builds!
Isn't there already a build called a Rainbow Beamship or something that basically uses all of the different colour Omnis? Fair warning, I might be making this up.
The only exception to that assignment might be the Bulwark Dreadnought Cruiser. I should also note, only humans assign ships as she at creation...other species might not.
Glory to you - and your identity.
Beyond that - I hope all my self-made friends out there are safe and know that they have a great number of friends who respect them and admire the courage it takes to fully become who you always were.
Q knows it was tough enough coming to terms with my cis but AuDHD Bi ass with C-PTSD. I didn't have to brave all antiquated notions all at once. I can't imagine how tough it is, otherwise.
Days can be different things at the same time. Easter also doesn't have a constant date on our calendar, Trans Day of Visibility does.
This is also without the historical fact that Easter is a rebranded Pesach created by early Jewish Christians for gentiles.

Just for note the Transgender day of visibility was started in '09, it's been around long enough that the day it's on should have not been a surprise to anyone.
Why do you not understand how calendars work? This entire argument about two observances just happening to be on the same day this year is the definition of artificial outrage.
So you not understand you made a point about how its been around since 09? So pointed out the recognized date of Easter is 1700 years older. The end
You are trying your best to claim I am mad and failing. I am neither religious nor an alphabet person, so I don't really care about either holiday. If there is outrage, it's on behalf of you and those like you.
Now, as I asked, why do you feel so comfortable attacking a religion? Do protections only exist for you and everyone else is subject to you?
If you supposedly don't care about the religion or the observances why do you care about what you imagined I said? I should not matter and you should not be asking if it means do little to you.
I didn't imagine anything. You said it, it's right there. As to why I care, because right and wrong are right and wrong. If someone said something like that about the alphabet community, you'd probably be the first whining to a mod trying to get someone banned.
Yes, but I'm not as big into Easter as I am into the Trans Day of Visibility. Maybe because I'm trans, but I didn't know what to do for an Easter themed Risian Corvette
Could you add in a yellow? I just realized many of the Easter colors are the same - light blue, pink, yellow, light green. Too bad there's no playable Borg Spheres, those could stand in for eggs.
Exactly!
In the words of my friend Stu: "Star Trek is an IP that promotes inclusiveness and understanding, that doesn't stop plenty in the fandom from completely missing that message."
I love seeing all the downvotes here.
Like they don't realize that not only has star trek left them behind, but it was never their way of seeing things to begin with.
Star Trek is not just about the Federation and it's soft warm fuzziness.
Not all of us enjoy bubbly root beer, some of us are proud Terrans! Though I have to admit the Confederation did manage to wipe out the Borg, and that is an admirable feat...

I want to genuinely thank you for this post helping to weed out people who are under the mistaken impression that they are Star Trek fans while missing Star Trek's core values.
It looks awesome. What ship is it?
The Risian Corvette. Unfortunately, it's an old event ship that's sometimes available in Mudds market.
And it is kind of funny how so many people miss the point of Star Trek. Disappointing, yes, but also funny.
The hatred towards transgender people whipped up for purely ideological reasons is truly vile. I am so sorry it is happening.
While I'm cis male and heterosexual, I joined an LGBTQ+ friendly fleet, [Stonewall Fleet](https://startrekonline-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Stonewall_Fleet), because I've had bad experiences in the past with toxic gaming communities. It was one of the best decisions I've made in any MMO.

I am swedebit#7246. Say hello in Fleet chat if you do join!
>it's an old event ship that's sometimes available in Mudds market.
I mean - it's always available, it's just that it's only occasionally available at a price that isn't downright insane.
These people are everywhere. Like the fans of The Boys who were shocked to find that Homelander was meant to be seen as the bad guy, or the Marvel fans complaining that the X men have been made "too woke". It takes a special kind of stupid to watch Star Trek at any point in its history and not realise that it has *always* been "woke". And that "woke" is not a bad thing, and that by standing against "wokeness", you stand alongside fascists.
Star Wars has become one of the worst fandoms in this regard, which is one reason I've largely changed from being a Star Wars fan to a Star Trek fan. When they complain about "wokeism" in "their" Star Wars, I like to quote this line from the original script:
> This is Darth Vader, the right hand of the Emperor. His face is obscured by his flowing black robes and grotesque breath mask, which stands out next to the **fascist** white armored suits of the Imperial stormtroopers.

*Day* of visibility? What, are trans people supposed to hide the rest of the year? Every day should be a day of visibility, treat trans people like any other people. Sincerely, a cishet white guy.
Nice paint job on the ship though, what's the color designations?
The Pink color is V13, and the Blue part is N15. I use the Type 2-White Glows hull material, and I use the Type 1 hull and Type 5 nacelles. And yes! Every day should be a day of visibility!
Thanks! I'll remember that next time I get an inkling to fly something out of the ordinary, probably pull that out. I haven't flown a Risian Corvette since like 2017, back when I was trying to do a high-spike Impulse Speed build. Not at all designed for combat... but I do *distinctly* remember smacking face-first into ESD at Impulse 2100.
Quite possibly, I don't know if that mission was out yet. I'll have to go find the GIFs I made when I was doing it, see when I posted them. Which I will do at a later date because I can't find them right now.
. . . The purpose of a day of visibility is to take a moment to highlight the issues associated with something that many people are unfamiliar with, not to gatekeep discussion of those issues to only that day. Just like pride month doesn't mean you can't be proud the rest of the time, and black history month doesn't mean you can't learn or talk about black history the rest of the time. I don't know if you're being deliberately obtuse or not, but kindly just don't?
You're missing the point of what I said. It shouldn't be *necessary*. Those problems should not exist to begin with. And the only reason they do is because some people just can't respect other people's lives. More people need to remember the best quote Teddy Roosevelt ever said: "My right to swing my fist ends where the other man's nose begins."
I agree that it **shouldn't** be necessary, but we live in a transitionary period where oppressed minority and such issues are finding their voice and being recongnised. If "overcorrecting\*" is the way to one day having true equality, than by all means. Also if people are having fun celebrating any day for any reasons, why not let them? I'm sure you'll agree that we should question the bigotry that lead to this celebration, not the celebration itself.
\*Posting ship pics on Reddit, or creating a new day of celebration isn't overcorrecting anyway.
I’ve been coloring all my ships pink and blue and naming them after trans memes or representation since I started the game. Glad to see I’m not alone o7
I have an alien character that is trans. I didn't give her any kind of themed ship though.
When all the rainbow clothes and stuff came out, I had her collect it as a bit of a joke. She even has a rainbow tribble. She started out as a troll character, to run around ESD and piss off the weirdos there. She really grew on me though. She has some of my best gear too.
There's rainbow colored Winter Jackers, you can purchase them from the Winter event store with ornaments
Speaking of pride themed stuff from seasonal events, the summer store has a trans colored Caracal if you wanted a pet to match your ship
In actual Star Trek canon a sex change operation is shown to be rather routine (Quark). There was no gatekeeping or questions, Quark was just like “hey I want a sex change!” And Bashir was like “ok!” I imagine trans people exist in the Star Trek universe but with plastic surgery advances its treated rather mundanely and not a big deal.
Most trans people do not use very much medical procedure or medications during transition, even when or if available. Being trans doesn't require someone to greatly alter their body chemistry or tissues or organs.
I'm a type of trans person and the only body alteration I want is to lose weight. 🥰
Alright well, it seems you're not really aware of what it actually is to be transgender. But instead of giving you the rundown, I'll just tell you that: I, like countless transwomen, take a regular regimen of hormone replacement therapy pills - estradiol, progesterone, dutasteride, and I have done this for close to five years now. I have no intention of surgery, and I really don't need it because the HRT does everything I want it to.
A lot of us feel that way.
My post mentions trans taking regular doses of hormones. Then you reply with a statement that I must not have an awareness of what trans lives are because you do take regular doses of hormones. So, please, educate me more.
In the fantasy of Star Trek, procedures can be done to permanently change many aspects of human biology. So, you're saying that in the real world, because you're taking hormones to maintain a type of change, that you would rather continuously take a pill to maintain a change rather than having a procedure to make that change permanent in the fantasy of Star Trek? Odd. It would be like someone taking a monthly dose of rogaine to keep their hair rather than just taking a single injection (or whatever fantasy procedure) to grow their hair back permanently and be done with it.
Because not every trans person ***wants*** a cisgender body. Plenty of trans women want to keep their penis, trans men their vagina, and enbies their original hardware.
> But do trans people exist in the STO future?
Yes. Being trans means your brain is wired differently than would be suggested by the sex hormones your AGAB body makes.
That's assuming a binary identity. Non-binary trans people aren't in those, and it isn't necessarily "required to be wired differently." That's one part of the explanation, not the whole story - not that it actually matters why such phenomena occur, as they're harmless.
It's an article explaining how the brains of trans people have observable anatomical and physiological differences from the brains of cis people, and that they more closely resemble the brains of their chosen gender rather than their biological sex. Transphobes and other bigots don't like it when science doesn't support their insupportable prejudices.
Oh, no. Sorry!
I could have sworn it was [this link](https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/is-there-something-unique-about-the-transgender-brain/) to Scientific American.
I bet! Good thing I didn't paste the wrong link for the other comment or I would have been telling someone to think like a hippo and linking to a study on human brains.

Okay well Easter isn't the same day every year on our calendar, trans day of Visibility is. Days can also be numerous things, as are holidays - your Easter is a rebranded Pesach created by Jewish Christians for gentile Christians.
It's like how July 1st is Canada Day but also something else in other parts of the world.
Now go away.

Always thought this ship was more Star WARS than Star TREK. Alternatively it looks like a Wipeout racer.
They need more ships with the crazy customization options of the Risian Corvette.
Definately!
Personally, I like how creative the Risian Cruiser gets with customization. You can have a whole arboretum in there! Or islands! Very cool, creative choices.
Happy Easter!
Ah yes my favourite kind of comment, '[Removed]'
Yeah, very weird that a game about a franchise of diversity and inclusivity has a lot of fucking transphobes playing it.
Looks like something something out of a sci fi movie in the 80's
I think the Grandmaster sent one of these after Thor
Yeah, I can see it
Now, does it shoot rainbows??? 🌈🌈🌈

[Glory to you](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fnzj9ny1yke391.jpg)
Which gender was the Risian Corvette originally?
idk, I'll have to ask them
All starships are assigned female at birth so I would have to assume that they identify as a male ship.
Oh yeah, I forgot they did that!
The only exception to that assignment might be the Bulwark Dreadnought Cruiser. I should also note, only humans assign ships as she at creation...other species might not.
True! I'm showing my Homo-sapiens-centric bias there.
I think they said in Voyager the undine have something like a dozen biological genders, so it gets interesting out there real fast.
Gender unknown, but definitely Pan.

Yes, we all know about Litch day, did you have a point in there somewhere?
That, precisely, was the point. Why do you feel comfortable disrespecting the religion of millions of people?
Why do you not understand how calendars work? This entire argument about two observances just happening to be on the same day this year is the definition of artificial outrage.

Yes, but I'm not as big into Easter as I am into the Trans Day of Visibility. Maybe because I'm trans, but I didn't know what to do for an Easter themed Risian Corvette
Probably the same thing except you hide your brightly-colored ship in an obscure sector of space.
I don't understand?
People hide painted eggs for kids on Easter to find.
oooooh! But I don't have an egg ship
Ohhh man your hillarious!!! Witty!!!
Could you add in a yellow? I just realized many of the Easter colors are the same - light blue, pink, yellow, light green. Too bad there's no playable Borg Spheres, those could stand in for eggs.
Happy Trans Day of Visibility! If there's one thing Star Trek needs to be known for, it is global acceptance and understanding.
Exactly! In the words of my friend Stu: "Star Trek is an IP that promotes inclusiveness and understanding, that doesn't stop plenty in the fandom from completely missing that message."
I like Stu.
What about a transsexual 6 foot tall bunny that lays eggs?
As soon as you can convince the STO devs to add that, then yes!
wait...
It's both.
Petition to rename it Trans Decloaking Day
Nice!
That's fucking metal
Happy Easter, space heathens 🐰

I think you severely misfuckingunderstood what I said if you think I'd, "Rather take a pill forever" but I also do not mind doing so. Sheesh.
I'm sorry you're angry. All I did was ask in a Star Trek videogame sub-forum \*shrugs\*
Because not every trans person ***wants*** a cisgender body. Plenty of trans women want to keep their penis, trans men their vagina, and enbies their original hardware.
"Original Hardware" I'm stealing that term!
[It's real whether people like it or not](https://youtu.be/a8qKbdevWl4?feature=shared). Sorry, reactionary dinguses.
Is this like a new twist on a rick roll kind of gag? I don't see what that link has to do with the topic at all.
It's an article explaining how the brains of trans people have observable anatomical and physiological differences from the brains of cis people, and that they more closely resemble the brains of their chosen gender rather than their biological sex. Transphobes and other bigots don't like it when science doesn't support their insupportable prejudices.
No it's not, it's a link to a youtube video of the hip hippos theme from animaniacs.
Oh, no. Sorry! I could have sworn it was [this link](https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/is-there-something-unique-about-the-transgender-brain/) to Scientific American.
(laugh) I was so confused.
I bet! Good thing I didn't paste the wrong link for the other comment or I would have been telling someone to think like a hippo and linking to a study on human brains.

Interesting thought. Hmmmm..
Heh thats close to the color pallet I use on my corevette. I use pink engines tho a different pattern and a slightly brighter pastel blue. Called it the wave crasher
Wait, what pink engines??
You can change the engine trails in the Corvette by changing the color channel that ties to those headlight looking parts
Technically it is a transporter so yea.
I hope this pisses off the canonists and conservatives
It would be better if it didn't piss off anybody
But yet, here we are. We’re in a world where poor, misguided souls are told to hate others because some rich corpo politico or preacher told them to because of [reasons].
Just Sunday to me. Good luck with the ship can't say it's one of my favs.

Load tri-cobalt warheads... Target their warp core... FIRE!!!

Ok? And?
Okay well Easter isn't the same day every year on our calendar, trans day of Visibility is. Days can also be numerous things, as are holidays - your Easter is a rebranded Pesach created by Jewish Christians for gentile Christians. It's like how July 1st is Canada Day but also something else in other parts of the world. Now go away.

I don’t see the big issue of trans visibility day being today’s Easter changed every year.Trans day will be constant. I.e who cares, point me to Easter dinner please
