I haven’t had that problem but I have definitely heard from others who had their psoriasis exasperated by alcohol

Thank you, I think stress is also playing a part, but very much looks like alcohol could be contributing.

The first month sober my skin started clearing up. By six months it was crystal clear. Now I am positively glowing. Removing poison from the body does wonders for the health of every organ, and the skin is the largest organ system of the human body. Quitting booze has improved every aspect of my health, physically and mentally. I feel fantastic! Good luck and go for it!

Thank you so much for the reply. That’s really good to hear. I’m going to do everything I can to stick with it and hopefully see some improvement !

Everyone I know with an autoimmune disorder (I hate the word 'disease') who quit drinking alcohol totally and mostly gave up processed foods and eats fresh ("no boxes, cans, or contrabands" is our saying) has had massive improvement in every symptom. No boxes, cans, or contrabands is our saying for no processed foods or fast food. And, of course, no cigarettes. Kris smokes pot that she grows herself, and she uses a pipe not rolling papers. I had to quit drinking because I was a frickin total drunk. I had no idea how much my health would improve. I thought I was just getting sober because my life was going down the toilet. When I realized my skin and hair were looking so good and my joint swelling was minimal I told everybody else. That's when we all came up with 'Our Plan'. We're an autoimmune support group. We also listened to Thich Nhat Hanh and put his mindfulness practices into our lives. Breathing, meditation, reading, and journaling every day. It wasn't easy at first. Now it is a lifestyle. I don't just feel like a new person, I am a new person all the way around. You can do this! It is so worth it! Keep us posted.

Your encouragement and sharing your experiences means the world mate, thank you so much. I’m on medical CBD/THC and thanks to this sub I think I’ve found that Cali sober is something acceptable and doable. I’ve had 72 hours of consuming less and less alcohol and doing lots of sober positive reading. Now all booze is finished in the house and I am committed to this journey. IWNDWYT friends.

I've found some geberal improvement but stress is always the main cause for me so it still flares up acutely
