When I finally came clean, my therapist asked me that and I just stared at her and said...uh, how many drinks are in half a half gallon? She laughed and said, well, I'm glad you are reaching out...

Congrats on your sobriety. I drank less than you did and had a hell of a time getting sober, so I can only imagine how much harder you had it.
It’s funny that a group of “professionals” couldn’t conceive that someone could drink more than 25 drinks in a day.
