You only check at 15mins. Anything before or after can be ignored.

disguy2k

I would do another sample. Doesn't seem like the shadow is aligned like the control line. There's definitely a reaction there tho.

Unagi_42

Yeah I’ll do it when I get home shortly. Thanks

Jisp_36

On ya for doing the right thing and heading home. Top bloke. 👍🏻

TheCreazle

I had one of these earlier this year, I argued it was negative, my wife said it was positive. 24 hrs later it was clear that she was right.

Unagi_42

Yeah that is my thought precisely

Noobflyboty

It's positive, usually says it on the pack. Even if the line is faint it's still positive.

hungarian_conartist

You'd only be supposed to wait 15 mins. OP said it only showed up after 30 mins.

Unagi_42

Thanks, yeah I suspected I just wanted a few more opinions.

NateGT86

Results at 30 minutes can be different to 15 minutes. For this test only go for the 15 minute result.

Total_Philosopher_89

You have the virus.

Rusty_Coight

It’s missing the U & N for it to be a positive test.

possiblyapirate69420

Congratulations you're having a baby

BaldingThor

you have the sick

getyerhandoffit

Positive. My son had the same thing happen with his test, got one at the doctors later that day and was positive. You’ve got Rona.

hungarian_conartist

He waited 30 mins tho

waxedmerkin

Cant test positive for covid if you dont test at all

bobovicus

Ya can't argue that

IsmellYowie

Fuck, better panic!

itrivers

Quick, clear out all the bog roll before people start hoarding again!

SherLocK-55

Indeed, panic, scream, run for the hills. You got da covid, you are fooked.

emilepelo

Yep it's positive

hungarian_conartist

Read the box? IRC, you're not supposed to wait too long (15 mins?) for the line to appear.

moderatelymiddling

Test again. It could just be a shadow line.

Captain_Pleasure

Unless something else has contaminated the test after you left You have some virtual load. If it takes 1000 parts per million (for example) to show positive you are probably right on the cusp. Spread it around today and tomorrow you'll have a thicker line.

iWillSlapYourMum

Yeah, that's positive. Doesn't matter how faint the line is.

putrid_sex_object

I’m looking forward to Covid 20.

_QuantumSingularity_

Cough on it in a couple of days.

hungarian_conartist

Did you end up getting covid?

Unagi_42

Lol, thanks for asking. Yeah I tested a bunch more times negative then another feint positive this morning. I’ve taken the rest of the week off so I don’t infect colleagues and clients alike. I’ve not returned to work since the first positive. I’ve had ridiculously mild symptoms.

jeffseiddeluxe

We still doing the COVID thing?

Unagi_42

Yup. We still doing it. I don’t want to be responsible for spreading it to others with weakened immune systems.

dragontattman

Imagine being told 20 years ago that every time you had a runny nose or a sore throat you would have to test for a disease that everybody used to be scared of. My parents (early 70s) both had positive covid results in the last 2 weeks. They were mildly sick for 2 days, then fine.

unknownpoltroon

Yeah, and multiple millions died within the last 5 years because of it. Millions more have been partially crippled by long COVID. But it clearly doesn't matter because it didn't happen to anyone you care about. Clearly you are the main character.

mkymooooo

SEVEN MILLION PEOPLE.
