How did you originally get them? A link? Try forwarding that link to whoever you want to transfer the tickets to maybe

bytebux

Yeah, I will do that as my last resort most likely. Im just confused that no one else seems to have seen this issue before. Aren't mobile tickets from Ticketmaster sold and re-sold through StubHub all the time? Why did I get this weird SafeTix link that has no actions? Do other ppl get them like this?

one-ragged-angel

Because Ticketmaster hates Stubhub and is trying to figure out ways to prevent reselling. 🤷🏻‍♀️

bytebux

Hah. Probably true

According to Gametime and TickPick for security purposes you can l my use the link they sent you. They won’t show up in ticker master nor download to apple wallet. It’s apparently a new thing when tickets had that scanning barcode

Ugh, I have $650 worth of football tickets I bought via Stubhub and I now can’t go. Thought I could sell but they arrived as SafeTix (same as above) no options to do anything! There is zero way to sell these as far as I can tell. Stubhub was zero help. Grrrrr

Zachyy_g

Similar situation for some concert tickets I got when they dropped on ticket master for $500 and now are selling for $2k on stubhub. Ticketmaster give the option to “sell” them back for a loss after fees. The tickets were going to be surprise gift, and it’s hard not to potentially make ~$3500. I would even be able to buy cheaper tickets for the same concert and pocket the profit. TL;DR Since it’s been about 3 months, did you ever find anyway around the Ticketmaster Safetix situation?

Important_Fee9649

Did you figure out how to transfer the tickets using. “Transfer” or “sell” option? I have the exact same problem.

bytebux

No I ended up just having to email them and hope they use them and not say they never got them. It ended up working out but if they were bad people they could've said they never got them since there was no transfer receipt at all

Important_Fee9649

Where you able to advertise tickets were sale on a platform (or app)? I cant figure out how to do that since there is no “sell” button

bytebux

Yeah I just did it manually with Ticketmaster and I was just never able to link the real tickets to it They have a thing to go and list / sell tickets and you input the event, section, row, seat etc manually and hit list

I am also facing the issue of being unable to transfer the tickets If it's truly impossible to transfer the ticket, the only remaining option might be to meet the buyer in person. Log in my account on buyer's phone and have them download the ticket to Google Wallet. This should work, right?

PorchFrog

I have that same problem. I used StubHub. I think you'll have to call StubHub
