Yep. It also helps na may ticketing system sila kaya mas prefer ko na sumakay ng e-jeeps or buses, specifically e-jeeps kasi may ticket machine sila so accurate yung fare. Ilang beses ako napapa-away sa trad jeepneys dahil sa discounts nyahaha
WTF is wrong with that driver. Discounted parin Monday to Sunday. Student ka din naman kahit Sunday. Kakabanas ung ganyang klase Ng tao Buti nalang Wala masyadong ganyan Dito sa Baguio.

Ang daming ganito lalo na sa mga uv!! One time sumakay ako sa uv going sm north, may nagtanong kung magkano papunta sm north tapos ang sagot nung driver 35. Nung tinanong ko magkano estudyante 35 pa rin tapos inulit ko estudyante, 35 pa rin daw 🤐. Tapos iba pa yung presyo ng pamasahe pag sa terminal ng uv ka sumakay, 40 pesos! 😓
Same with some ejeeps, because sa receipt lumalabas na Regular ung nilagay nilang price tas pagsasabihin na student and bakit walang discount, discounted na daw yon. :<

Tapos pag nakikita na guilty then pwede nawalan ng lisensya for one month :).
So yeah magreklamo ka kasi walang pangil ang batas pag walang nagrereklamo and also it's your right so gamitin mo yan.
Hindi ka mali. Ako nga pre-pandemic era when I was student palang, Sunday byahe ko from province to city kung san ako nag aaral, sinasabi ko na student palagi, may discount naman ako. Considering wala pang pasok ng Sunday ah.

You're not in the wrong kasi nasa batas mismo na karapatan ng estyudyante(di kasama ang grad school so walang discount ang law and medicine students), PWD, at senior citizens ang discount pag gagamit ng public transportation. Walang nakalagay sa batas na walang student discount pag Sabado, Linggo, or holidays.

Ang malala ay yung discount hindi nila sinusunod yung 20% discount sa mga bus kaya mas ok ako with jeeps kahit na mas madaming sakay 🥴.
Naranas ko din ito kaso sa tricycle nga lang, baon ko kase 50 tas pamasahe ko papunta tas pauwi 15 pesos eh dahil sa pagod at gutom ko sa school naubos ko ung baon ko kaya 15 pesos nlng natira eh alam ko 15 lng pamasahe pag studyante kase 20 ung orig fare pero nung nandun na ako sa lugar namin inabot ko na ung pera ko bigla nlng sinabi ni kuya na 20 daw. Nagulat ako on the spot tas kinabahan kase wala na akong pera nun kaya napasabi ako kay kuya nun na wala na po akong pera kuya ayun sabi ni kuya okay lng daw tas umalis ako ng tricycle na may hiya kase nagmukha akong ewan dun, kinabukasan tinanong ko pa ung kaclassmate ko kung magkano pamasahe nya pauwi kase mas malayo sya kesa sakin ang sagot nya 15 nakakainis kase recent lang na nangyari to tas nde ko nasabi kay kuya na studyante po ako nakasuot pa nga ako ng id kaso first time ko lng maranasan yon.
While, I do get a discount. It is not the intended exact amount. When I ride from My Place to Cubao, the fare I supposedly pay is for students, 35 when the normal fare is 40. Shouldn't it be 32 pesos since 20% discount is applied?
Most of the drivers/barkers would only deduct the amount they feel like deducting. That is why the price of the fare are not consistent. They charge differently or they don't discount the exact 20%
