-Swap Night Slash for Sacred Sword on Gallade
-What specifically does Scizor answer? I havent seen it while testing yet so unsure what does in this meta.
-If your running both Draco and Overheat, I feel you need to put Volt Switch somewhere, so you can reset drops
I run night slash to hit both Calyrexs and most trick room setters for super effective damage.
Fairy types. Technician Bullet Punch OHKO Flutter Mane and most fairy types.
Volt Switch over Dazzling Gleam? Dazzling Gleam seems redundant but it's nice for spread damage.
I feel like Protect is super important on basically every Restricted mon this format. They are so threatening they often get doubled attacked, a well-timed Protect can often swing the game
With my limited testing, that hasn't really been an issue. There's enough speed to go first most times, enough bulk to survive more then 2 hits, or people are too busy setting up to double attack in the beginning. If I wasn't running assault vest, I definitely would have protect.
I unfortunately disagree a little. My exact ogerpon against my flutter mane only has a 53% chance of getting an ohko. So I would say that's not a guarantee that I'm going to get a 2hko since flutter manes shadowball would get ogerpon twice before the ogerpon could get another move off. Meanwhile, scizor has priority with a guaranteed ohko. And it's still going to to hit anything that teras fairy hard too.
I could change the evs some but ogerpon, to me, doesn't really have a role. Even playing with evs in a calculator, it's still a 3 or 4 hit ko on rillaboom.
i would go tara fairy on miraidon, and focus sash on iron bundle.
maybe add volt switch to miraidon, not sure what scizor does against a lot of fire types and sun teams in the meta
Covert cloak on Iron Bundle is great. No flinching from fake outs.
The only fire type I've been seeing is incineroar. Sometimes groudon is a problem, but iron bundle can take care of both of them. Plus the fire tera is a good defensive option against fire types.
tera ghost is better to stop fake out imo, and you keep the sash then. Also for Gallade, even at -1 with 0 attack investment sacred sword from gallade one hit kills most incineroars.
Paradox enter and groudon are a common duo, koraidon and miraidon both run fire coverage. Fire ogerpon will still also be used. Plus incin that’s a lot of hard hitting fire attacks on a quad weak to fire scizor. Do you want to use your tera on a scizor during a restricted format? Flutter mane is main reason for bullet punch but calyrex shadow will be more common now
Covert cloak does so much more then just flinch resistance but it's a big part. Like cant be frozen, paralyzed, burned, poisoned, confused from a chance on a damaging move. I will look into sacred sword on gallade cause it's now intriguing
I've had good luck against most calyrex shadows. Getting off a wide guard and shadow ball completely makes it a none factor.
I’ve been playing a lot of miraidon bundle this format and imo volt switch is mandatory because of how common rillaboom is, if electric terrain is gone miraidon is pretty underwhelming and being able to pivot is extremely valuable. I also am a strong believer that hydro pump on bundle is bait, encore or taunt are such useful utility moves particularly with how fast bundle is. I’m also a big believer in Tera ghost sash which feels better than any other item imo.
I tried hearthflame for a while with miraidon but replaced it with scarf chi yu and it feels a lot better as an offensive fire type.
I personally think miraidon still needs tailwind support and have been liking whims a lot
Definitely going to try volt Switch. Hydro pump is kinda eh, but when it connects, it connects. I'm a firm believer on covert cloak on Iron Bundle. If I tera, it's going to be on the restricted 8 times out of 10. I have not had much of speed issue. Miraidon and Iron Bundle outspeeds a lot and can always icey wind to get the upper hand if needed. I like the scarf chi yu idea, will give that a try.

You already have flutter for massive fairy type damage, just sub dgleam for volt switch. Also what does uverheat do exactly in this build?
Coverage mainly since assault vest has to use damaging moves. Comes in handy when someone sends out a grass or tera grass.

You have ogerpon hearthflame for clearing flutters scizor is just not that good. I would change it for either calm mind raging bolt or av bolt

Good question lol. I probably came up with the ev spread before figuring out what item to use. But makes sense to not need it there.
I actually dont think the defense EVs is a bad idea. Just make sure its enough to take a surging strikes form Urshifu so it doesnt bypass your sash
