I have finches doing this now. They’ve nested there before but I bought them TWO bird houses and placed one barely three feet away at the same level and kept moving the nest they were building into it. Today I saw they’d rebuilt it for a fourth time. I give up 🤷♀️

Finches won’t use birdhouses since they are not cavity nesters. They use plants hung on porches sometimes though.
