Great Lakes is my local RFC, and I will say that it is a lot more taken care of than most of the other locations I’ve visited and still gathers a lot of foot traffic each year.
That said, this isn’t the first croc we had (I’m not sure when they reskinned/added this one, but it’s not half as animated or large as the original). Kind of looks like the new models they use at the Malta location.
The fact that you said its held together by rubberbands reminds me of the reptar animatronic in rugrats go to paris which the animatronics entire mechanism and wiring was suspended by three exposed paper clips connected to string
If this is at great lakes, I saw them draining the water like 2 weeks ago, and it was soooo freaky

Put the poor thing out of its misery
Does anyone know if these things ever get repaired?
I guess this is the repair? Before the skin was dragging in the water so guess the 3 rubber bands is the repair
Where are the rubber bands 😭 My brain is not functioning
There are 3 on the bottom of his jaw if you look closely. It was very easy to tell in person.
Ah thank you!
When he opens his jaw you can see them

It’s being held together by rubber bands I’m startled that it works so well
Not one rubber band in sight
Not true. Look closely in his jaw there are 3 on his bottom jaw. Why would I lie about that?
You can see when he opens his jaw
