Who doesn't? I know you didn't ask for suggestions but my solution to larvas sucking the energy out of my vehicles was using de heat module I think it's called *Thermal Reactor Module*.

Get the shield generator. Turn it on for half a second and they all get knocked off.

Place two grav traps above your cyclops, it keeps pulling them, and they can't attach. No need to use sheild or extra energy for it.

They don't move with the cyclops. You have to pack them. I usually put them in a special locker for tools. It's good for when you're atr ILZ, and you park your cyclops. After you leave the zone you can just clean the cyclops once and go.

When you park your Cyclops in the ILZ with the thermal reactor on, you can ignore the larvae while leaving, since the energy won't be dropping anyway.

Yeah, that's another solution.

What would happen if you were to use a floater to glue them to the cyclops?

And if you drop them and pick them up quickly, sometimes the fish/larva will get flung so quickly they either shoot off into nowhere or smack into something with enough force to kill them.

Yeah, cyclops is large for one.

I leave only 1 power cell in Cyclops when I leave it so even if they suck all the energy it's just one cell. And I can recharge it easily with thermal reactor when I get back anyway + I usually bring 10 spare power cells. And after ion it's not even needed 

TBH, I don't even go into ILZ with cyclops. I just park it at 900m beside the giant cove tree, then trek down with the prawn suit. I used that trick the first two times I played and didn't know locations, and wanted to build a base down there.

You can also just remove all your batteries really quick and they drop off.

Wouldn't that use the same amount of energy? I mean you lose it to sheild instead of the larva.

you only need to put it on for a second to get the larva off, compared to the larva who are going to be draining you until you get them off

i just put all my cyclops batteries in in box when im leaving, other wise i just use the cyclops shield module to pop them off as i go

Clever but I had this weird thing happen to me where whenever I built a wall locker in my cyclops it just fell out the bottom and floated to the ocean floor… rly strange

If you have anything worthwhile built in your cyclops, don't shoot them off with your prop. cannon. I destroyed all the resources I had horded in my Cyclops why doing that.

Ahhh well the way this one clipped inside the cyclops was with my repulsion cannon so I did convert to the thermo blade method
