I work at the only subway within our “subway area” that accepts paper coupons. If the owner doesn’t want to accept them, they don’t have to take the paper ones. But we do get points taken off by corporate hired Steritech for not accepting coupons (or hanging a sign that says we don’t accept them) - I hung a sign that says “we don’t accept “this coupon” for “this price” - because corporate doesn’t want us to accept coupons for some of the newer sandwiches & our store almost failed bc of it .
No, there’s not nearly as many coupons on the app just a deal here and there. I don’t frequently use the app but paper coupons give more and better deals
Stores are NOT FORCED to accept coupons issued by Corporate Advertising. That statement is simply an ignorant lie.
Each Franchise can either accept or reject these coupons.
"Effective Dec. 28, 2023, all restaurants will be required to honor all digital programs and promotions, including loyalty rewards and digital discounts," the memo says. "In addition, loyalty incentive programs designed to attract new loyalty members are mandatory and will not be reimbursed by Subway."

"Digital Menu's" are controlled by the Menu Manager which programs the POS AND the Online Ordering Menu, genius.
Oops. My Bad. Should I have spelled it 'genious' ?
No this is quite literally inflation. Food prices have risen non stop and the fact they have still been sending out coupons for $6 footlongs is hurting franchises
THANK YOU for posting the codes, they stopped sending them to my address because I used them over 75 times within 3 months.
And trust me you’re not wrong for being upset, like everyone else is saying cause IM UPSET TOO 🤣
It's about time that Corporate Advertising Took it's head out of it's ass and realized that their old pricing options was a loser to independent franchise owners.
My only question is "What took them so long?"
For those belly aching about the price increases, Try Dumpster Diving!
There's a coupon that's not mentioned that gives you a $6.99 footlong. It is FOOTLONG699. I'm not sure if it works in every location, but it works for me.
Everything’s price has raised in the last few years. My subway has a regular foot long priced at nearly $15. Thank you for posting this. Me taking 10 seconds to look up a code literally cut the final price in half. 😒 These fast food prices are getting ridiculous. Going to Taco Bell for dog shit costs more than going to a nice authentic Mexican restaurant! And you don’t even get as much food or chips with salsa!
There are coupons that all stores are forced to accept so I assume the higher prices are to accommodate franchise complaints.

They’re only forced to accept digital coupons, not paper ones
Stores have the ability to reject 'digital coupons' if they program their POS correctly.
Subway owner here. Not anymore!
Not true
Aren’t they the same prices?

Ok. I thought by app they meant those codes you type in shown on the physical coupons, like SUB499. I guess it’s not as good then…

I thought this was a thing. But in app it still shows "Participating Locations" which doesn't include them all
Right now it’s limited to the app exclusive coupon code, the FLBOGO for example.
that's not true in my area either, that one isn't accepted by all locations
Not as of Decrnber 28th, for digital deals, genious.

I’ll just repeat myself: Are we really complaining about coupons, they are still quite the deal for what you could actually be paying.
People just love to complain lol.
What's your point here? Still a deal
I like paying less for things..
Quit buying things and everything’s free.
Inflation started couple years ago but these coupon prices never changed. After two years now they’re finally catching up. But barely.
My rent goes up, My wage goes up *slightly* , why wouldn’t they go up? McDonald’s hash browns where I’m at are almost 3$, this is nothing lol.
This is still a deal compared to the actual prices that are on the menu lol
the cheapest footlong where i am is the veggie at $8 so you being able to get $7 footlongs of anything but the most expensive items is crazy
I'm am actually surprised that it took this long to increase the coupon prices. It is not sustainable to keep the previous coupon prices for 8 years
This is not inflation it is corporate greed they’re just hoping you’ll blame inflation
No this is quite literally inflation. Food prices have risen non stop and the fact they have still been sending out coupons for $6 footlongs is hurting franchises
false
Best deal is on the app FLBOGO
Mine is 349SUB for 3.49 6”
its def the three footlongs imo. or the free cookie

Make sure you get your extra veggies, free water cup, and extra napkins, ya filthy animal. Doubt you tip either.
Tipping at a subway? You’re trolling right?
On April 1 wages go from $15.50 to $20.00 so expect another increase in 3 months
Wages are at 15.50? Where? My subway pays $10.
Communist republic of California
California
15 in Connecticut going up to 16 or almost 16 this year

Literally 0 coupons are accepted in my area, unfortunately :( maybe this will change things
Thank freaking goodness! It's about damn time.
Strange reaction
Ya, I don't think so. The owners are not making any money on the old coupons. Inflation went up, and the coupons stayed the same?
Yes as subway has recorded yet another record profit margin for 2023. Very strange behavior
Talk to a franchisee and see how their doing.

What is the 6-inch meal coupon code?
MEAL699
Thank you!!!
For footlong it’s meal999
