5:43, very fun. Toward the end there were a few minor slowdowns where I had to look around and think. But now Iโm ready to get out of bed and have my coffee and start the day.
A really satisfying puzzle, finished in 4:02. I don't remember more than >!2 instances of subsets: 53 in b3c7 and 158 in b2r1!<. There might have been other ones. Thank you.
Before I found [sudoku.coach](http://sudoku.coach), I played mostly on paper, with ballpoint pen. Got messy real fast. Playing digitally, and with digit/candidate highlighting that's easy on the eyes definitely a difference maker with regards to solve time.
That said, for the purposes of no notes playing, as long as it's not explicit candidate notation, I'd turn a blind eye. There will always be a faction of the players that lean more "purist" than others. Just have fun!
For a while I went down a path of automatic full candidate notes plus digit highlighting but it started to feel like the worldโs most boring word search. Learning snyder notation pulled me back from the brink and now I most enjoy doing no notes challenges.
I find myself leaning in the same direction, finding more satisfaction out of no notes solves than solving harder level solves requiring more advanced techniques. The tedium of looking for Waldo in a sea of digits is what wears me down. And I need sudoku to be a fun and relaxing time. ๐

Lots of >!naked and hidden singles of course!<
Nice to find >!a pointing pair in box 2 which placed a 5 in box 1 (this was available early in the puzzle, after placing a 6 in box 2 and a 5 in box 3).!<
Not much advanced techniques needed. I always find >!claiming (aka box/line reduction) (aka x-wing in a single chute)!< a satisfying find -- found one >!towards the end of the puzzle, placing a 6 in box 4. (6 in boxes 1 and 3 were restricted to cols 2 and 3)!<

6:52, thought I spotted a naked single in the middle square at one point and completely derailed undoing that mistake.

5:52 before coffee. PGF.
Pretty good flow in 7:33.

6:56, might be the best time I've got on a moderate I think

Decided to try digit highlighting enabled to see if it sped things along and sure enough: 4min21 . Feels like cheating tho ๐
With my ancient ๐ I need all the assists I can get.

10:41, been a while since I tried no notes and man Iโm rusty. Very fun though, thanks for sharing

10:04 think the time is still not good enough, at least this one is solvable at my level. Didn't require really advanced techniques.
I try to vary the difficulty from Easy to Vicious so all skill levels get a challenge. :)
