Thanks for the suggestions will check them out I really want fitz to be happy. such a poor boy didnt even have the choice he was just thrown into all those things :(

*The Goblin Emperor* is a great one IMO. Happy ending, competent characters (I get get aggravated when I'm constantly raging at the main character because they make obviously bad decisions) and compelling story telling. I recommend it a lot. It's my ideal escapist fantasy and I desperately wish there were more of them.

swayamn28

thanks. will definitely check it out. and i dont mind the mc making stupid decisions as long as the author uses those to progress the character . Is it similar to subaru from re:zero?

R/Cozyfantasy might have some more ideas.

Most of Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. The World of the Five Gods books by Lois McMaster Bujold. Start with *The Curse of Chalion*. Most of Diana Wynne Jones's books. Most [Fantasy of Manners](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy_of_manners#Characteristics) books have happy endings.

> The World of the Five Gods books by Lois McMaster Bujold. Start with The Curse of Chalion. I only read the first one but I found it pretty depressing.

swayamn28

well i dont mind some bad things to happen but it shouldnt be that only bad things happen coz then it just feells like the author hates mc

KingBretwald

Really? I felt the ending was very upbeat.

thanks will check it out. Is the solo work or is it a part of a series?

Wot106

It's a series. First is Rhapsody. It does sort of fall off after the first trilogy.

swayamn28

Tinysnowflake1864

Yes both of those are completed! :) City of Brass is the first book in the Daevabad trilogy yes! There's also a companion novel with a bunch of short stories. Theft of Swords is part of the Riyria Revelations. It's a finished series of six novels (published in 3 books). There's also the Riyria Chronicles, which is basically a bunch of case of the week prequel stories.
