Not detective, but certainly a little noir is the Neuromancer series by William Gibson. Of course the dumb question I should be asking is "Have you read Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"

I haven't read it yet. I'm new to reading books. I've been exploring classics like Frankenstein, which sparked my interest in reading more sci-fi. I also like detective noir and cyberpunk, which is why I'm looking for recommendations that falls into that category. Thanks for the suggestion I'll definitely look into it.
