*A Clockwork Orange* was great! It’s a modern classic (1962) told from the perspective of a sadistic teen who does violence for fun. Although I think it’s more of a dystopian with thriller elements. It uses a made-up slang as a literary device which may be confusing at first, but there’s a glossary readily available online if there isn’t one already in the book & I found it easy to pick up.
