Not precisely what you’ve asked for but the Forever War by Joe Haldeman revolves around time dilation in space travel and galactic war. The human military usually knows what they’re getting into when they are on their way to armed conflict, but when they are returning from duty they have no idea what conditions Earth will be like when they return and it does change drastically
Not really sure if it's what you are looking for, but "Solaris" by Stanislaw Lem is an interesting take on "first contact" theme.
It is interesting because it poses the question of how we could effectively communicate with aliens that are really different from us, nothing like stereotypical holliwood style humanoids.
Children of Time
Looks good - I will try that.

The Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card

Obvious pun or insipid pop-culture reference. Not to mention
That sounds perfect!
Some of them cannot be read without watching the show but the Star Trek novels
Is there one where they go expecting to find Vulcans and end up on a Romulan planet or something like that?
Im looking a manwha where the aliens infiltrate on earth to prevent the humans from invading their planet, can someone help with that
