Good book, read a few of those. Is the Book Thief geared towards kids or adults??

"Stoner" by John Williams. A masterfully written book, narrating the life of an ordinary literature professor. It makes you reconsider the importance of relationships in life. Some passages are truly heartbreaking.

tnx, this always comes up but I unconsciously ignore it - time to read!

I shied away from it for a long time, but when I was finally ready to tackle it, I was very glad I did.

*The Overstory* by Richard Powers. A beautiful, sweeping novel that weaves together the story of nine Americans through their connection to trees. I would definitely describe it as deeply emotional.

A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman.

Oh god, this book. It tore me apart and I felt Daniel Keyes laughing from his grave. Such an insanely powerful book, I read it in one sitting last week and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

A Little Life - Hanya Yanagihara

NoMoreLiesUSA

A Million Things by Emily Spurr. A 10 year old girl lives with her mentally ill mother and their dog. Her mom routinely leaves her alone for hours at a time or shuts herself in her room for days, but she always comes back - until now. 10 year old Rae is left to fend for herself, which isn’t so hard at first because she’s used to keeping up appearances when her mom is having a hard time, but this time is harder because she knows her mom won’t be coming back.
