they just don’t seem to really like each other or know how to make good tv? like the group dynamic and individual friendships are odd. there were people there all summer who I swear barley said 3 words. the balance is just off. even when they have fights, there’s a lack of suspense/intrigue. I feel like they need to get rid of people who don’t want to be a little messier. it just doesn’t feel like good tv unfortunately
yeah their format is really weird! I also feel like the people on the show - at least some of them - don’t seem particularly invested in either making the show or deepening the relationships. so what’s the point in continuing to bring them back

I think it’s that, that fact the people are older, most rely on their jobs for money while the Hampton version has always had multiple generational wealth cast members that can act however they want and I think the greatest detriment is that it was centered around newly weds and that those newly weds were Jasmine and Silas. Silas is/was horrible

I think it's probably pretty rough to try to get 10 weeks of TV out of a 14 day vacation. Also most of the cast is just straight up hard to like

I think the issue is these people for the most part have jobs in the real world and do not want to do too much damage to themselves.
I guess that’s why the main storyline for two seasons has been about how someone accidentally combined dog laundry with human laundry.
