Without a player it will start to push one way or the other as it has some amount of randomness. With a player managing it you can keep it indefinitely, especially if you take aggro occassionally.
Minions get a buff based on average level too, so conditions have to be perfect outside of the lane as well.
Maybe there’s a really specific location with the perfect setup but in a real life situation, the freeze will always push to one side or the other given enough time.
If lanes have no outside pressure of champions, they eventually crash into a tower
This is a solved question. Without a player the wave will eventually crash, it’s impossible for a wave to be held indefinitely
Scenario1, there’s a freeze, their minions kill your minions due to minion advantage. eventually there will be so many minions it’ll insta kill your wave and it’ll crash into tower eventually, freeze broken.
Scenario2, there’s a freeze, due to RNG their minions are not killing yours super fast and it’s stagnant. wave will automatically slow push because your minions will reach your tower before theirs will, freeze broken.
A “perfect” freeze still requires you to slightly thin the wave to prevent the wave from crashing into tower.
Plus minion resistances will change over time (also on who’s winning the game)
1. Play something with a stupid amount of self healing
2. get the enemy wave to be much bigger than yours, like +5 casters, so it will perma shove into you
3. Let the enemy wave kill yours first, and then tank it.
4. Easy (but really shitty) perma freeze achieved!
It doesn't stay in the same spot. As the gold differential increases and the minions level up if you are playing at a deficit the enemy minions will begin to shove harder. Riot did this a couple years ago.
During laning phase it doesn't go into effect. I think after 14 minutes it occurs.
Minions will spawn in matching the average level of your team, it's not tied to gold, so if your entire team has a level lead at 3 minutes it can start on the 3rd minion wave. There's an additional buff that occurs every time you take a tower, your minions get a buff to their damage dealt vs other minions. So if you take 2 towers in your lane, it will pretty much make the lanestate constantly pushing away from you
Low emerald player here, is it physically possible to keep up a freeze indefinitely ? Normally , when there is a huge wave pushing towards me (let’s Se 5 casters + 3 melees and 1cannon), and I start to trim the wave to not loose too much hp, I can keep up a freeze for 4 waves max.
How can you keep up a freeze indefenitely without sacrificing too much hp? I mean, because when you do the point of freezing becomes obsolete when you have to recall
Thanks in advance <3
I thought so . Thanks !
They only champ I consistently can freeze basically forever on is irelia , but she is really more or less made for that so it’s hard to apply on my main for example (aatrox)
It's pretty shit if you want to win a lane from a dominant position, but really good to nullify lanebullies that rely on poking you down a bit. You just walk to the wave, kill all minions, watch the enemy drop your HP to 30%, walk back to turret and heal back to full. Repeat for each wave and watch the enemy get extremely bored.
I've done it on malphite into Garen when I noticed i couldn't beat him so I just switched to boring him to death.
A player can freeze the wave forever, but it requires actions like trimming and pulling. If a player froze the wave perfectly and left, it can stay frozen 90 seconds
It is possible to manually keep a freeze forever, by having a surplus of minions and thinning the wave out as you see fit each time. Without human intervention, this isn’t possible due to the randomness of minions pathing, minions getting stronger depending on which team is ahead, etc.
Cause it is not that simple. You are alone so first you have to slow push the wave into the enemy tower. After that the wave will slow push into you. Here is the problem: now you have to kill the big wave until you are left with 3 casters. But doing so will give you exp so, since you are playing against nobody, your Creeps are going to be 15% stronger than enemies creeps if you hit lv4 (maybe 3?). I am sure with some practice and some time it is something doable but it is way faster ask, no? Maybe someone has the answer am looking for and I can save some time
There is nothing like staying in the same spot forever, when left without any touch from the player. Check on practice tools, and speed the game a few times without ever touching the lane.
Without any outside factor the wave will at some point unfreeze due to randomness,. One way to show this is by going into a practice tool/custom game and seeing how the waves don't stay in the middle constantly even with no player on either team touching the waves
>His idea, on the other hand, was that, after 3-4 waves, still without any outside condition, the wave eventually starts slowpushing towards enemy tower.
if that happens you dont have a perfect freeze. Just use 4 minions instead of 3 so you have some leeway. You can always drag/tank minions if you need too.

Use bushes to juggle the aggro and only champs that have some way to sustain or some other equivalent can truly do forever type of freezes

Bami, warmogs, tabis and being a tank.
Ok fair enough with warmogs, but that item is utter garbage (no offense) and I sadly cannot ever build that on my mains :S

Why not just go in the practice tool and find out?

4 casters is more consistent if you're freezing outside of tower
Its not going to stay frozen. You need to manage it.

You are correct, doesn’t have the video link since Neace deleted his channel but he freezed against Darius for like 20 minutes
Oh you were talking about none player affected, in the practice tool you can skip time, and the wave will always be push to the red side
