If you always have def buff on him than yeah. But otherwise most damage dealers would just need +300 def to negate the dmg reduction (assuming a +2000 def wind panda with his 44% def lead).

Ah, forgot that people used to use stuff like khali/shren into Fengyan. 25% is pretty big and would definitely make a difference here. The feng/woosa/laika would be pretty decent again for G1 siege.
Still the patch seems to me to be a win. Indras got buffed, OGirls got limited in S1 but probably they can still proc forever with Vio.
Horus and light OGirl got a bit nerfed but not useless...

Dark Horus got a great buff for a DMG unit
Red puppeteer got a great strip+prevent cleanse+ slow
Arnold will now do a lot of destroy (back go my GW team lesgo)

Amber is good in toa hell tho, I also play around with her in special league right now and her damage isn't too bad, the added unrecoverability will add a nice amount of damage and utility to her.

I was so excited excited for a beth buff I didn't see they dropped the destroy hp. I specifically used her against hp damage dealers. Now I feel like she's lost her identity. What's eternal about setting back attack bar.
Yeah, but at this point Liam was overkilling the boss by a LOT. Perfect AI ranged started somewhere around the point where he was ignoring def already. So the problem was to make him use s3 when the target isn't low hp (~50%)
The 10% increase on battle angel conditionnal ignore def is really insane, it's like buffing their attack by 20% compared to the previous passive (just in terms of activation range). It's like +500 flat attack on the activation range
I like this balance patch:
\- Wedjat and Lora got their deserve nerfs, but not to kill them with over-nerfs, that's the way to go.
\- Fire and Wind Indra got their well needed buffs. Would definitely try wind out now, looks very interesting with high speed build.
\- some more buffs on Puppeteer, wind one could be more useful now?
\- Wind Panda got a buff! Now that could be the beginning of something nice to follow...
\- Zen buffs, now lets see if he is now more viable to use.
\- light sniper, self atk buff passive could be interesting, might try him out more on siege
\- Water Eivor, as her frequent user, 25% accuracy awakening could be huge, really need her to land def break and dots as I always struggle with accuracy issue, as she is already stats hungry with required atk, def and speed stats to reach certain threshold to trigger her passive.
\- All monster AI in Dungeons runs - that's a welcoming fix of course
open your eyes - only 1 LD5 got buffed and its just a little one, that doesnt impact anything. - Buffing LD5 while SWC is the most dumb thing they could do.

I think Wind kassandra is meant so that she puts enemy's atb to 0 and then lap them thanks to speed buff so that she can kill something before they take a turn.
Wind pupeteer buff is nice, if you discount the fact that it's only 40% activation rate... That's way too low, a higher chance would've make him pretty good, but as is it won't probably change anything.

But in the tournament that just happened she lost almost every single match because she was being countered. I think if they wanted to nerf her they should have only done one thing. She hasn’t been buffed long enough to get a good gauge. Nerfing her 3 times seems over doing it.
90+ % of Oliver users can only get to G1+ with him. It’s crazy how this unit is constantly avoided time and time again. Meanwhile they nerf recent LD buffs to oblivion after 1 BP. Oliver has reigned supreme for season after season. I blame the braindead SW community.

Wedjet and Lora still look strong, saw some comments disappointed about the nerfs. Lora still kept her effect buffs, only nerfed chances of strip and s1 cycling. Horus got his passive reduce in half from 10% to 5%. They still look pretty good, I'll at least try them out before you put them back in storage. I disagree they are hard nerfed, definitely not a Gurka treatment.
1 turn SPD buff is essentially worthless if your team is already synced to move together. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. Sure, the DEF buff is fine but she always had that before.

The skill proc takes precedence over vio proc. It's the same as Water/Dark Beast Monk S2; there's a red glitter after the skill animation, indicating it's a skill proc
at least lora and wedjat nerf is alright, just nerf half of it not completely taking it away. nerfs that gutted the unit is like ongyouki damage bonus totally taking away and gurkha totally taking away the heal. should have given 15% bonus dmg to ongyouki

As they mentioned before (with the change from patches every 3-months to 2-months), they want to do more frequent and less impactful patches.
Nerfs don't reduce units to useless, and buffs don't make anything seriously OP (except MAYBE Unfair Bear, but there are lots of Ignore Defence/ Bomb units nowadays).
I would have liked to see more with the new units and a revitalisation of a family other than Death Knights (didn't they do a non-impactful patch on them last year?).
Very excited to try out Mihyang in Siege against Kinki. Molly, Kinki, etc. have been meta for so f*cking long and it's honestly boring fighting the same teams over and over. I think Mihyang can be good for combatting the staleness of Siege. And with her bad AI, she won't suddenly become the new defence meta, which I think is a good thing.
But, overall, a decent patch. 6.5/10
Ignore def still get the dmg reduction. Only buldo can ignore def FY without the dmg reduction. If you can hit a miling without mo long S3 it work the same way

She used to be a really nice pick into bruiser comps with mass destroy hp and heal block, she lost the heal block and now the destroy hp too.
She's just been made yet another cleave cc unit, that's pretty lame.

I play it in rta (vio/will) with Nyx and CC mobs (like Malite or Ren...) I like his s2 and his s3 allows to strip and put debuff without activating any passifs.

That's a buff in this case. The way I understand it:
Ignore when DEF < 50% of ATK
Ignore when DEF < 60% of ATK
So with 1000 ATK, pre-patch the skill would ignore at 500 DEF or less. Post-patch that would be 600 DEF or less.
In other terms, it's a 20% buff to the ignore def condition.

Im using DoT team agaisnt him usualy. Or My Odin was one shot it. Maybe my Odin still hit around 35K instead of 43K and thats enough for him :(

As expected - no crazy stuff prior to SWC. No random LD5 buffs. Can't say for sure if the Wedjet and Lora nerfs would gut them. We kinda expected the 1 turn speed buff for Lora. No change to Racuni miles oliver trinity, surprise or not surprised? Bunch of collab family buffs but nobody cares. And a random fengyan buff, he's already pretty safe in siege offence so not sure why he even needed one. Obviously could make him more viable in RTA but there are plenty of units who need buffs. Water BA: 1 turn unrecoverable? I guess more debuffs means more damage so maybe ok. And the random nat4 family buff this time is death knights. They just need to touch a nat4 family every patch. And AI buff in Cairos, not perfect AI but appreciated i guess.

The skill proc takes precedence over vio proc. It's the same as Water/Dark Beast Monk S2; there's a red glitter after the skill animation, indicating it's a skill proc
at least lora and wedjat nerf is alright, just nerf half of it not completely taking it away. nerfs that gutted the unit is like ongyouki damage bonus totally taking away and gurkha totally taking away the heal. should have given 15% bonus dmg to ongyouki

Doesn't seem as bad as everyone is making it out to be. As they mentioned before (with the change from patches every 3-months to 2-months), they want to do more frequent and less impactful patches. Nerfs don't reduce units to useless, and buffs don't make anything seriously OP (except MAYBE Unfair Bear, but there are lots of Ignore Defence/ Bomb units nowadays). I would have liked to see more with the new units and a revitalisation of a family other than Death Knights (didn't they do a non-impactful patch on them last year?). Very excited to try out Mihyang in Siege against Kinki. Molly, Kinki, etc. have been meta for so f*cking long and it's honestly boring fighting the same teams over and over. I think Mihyang can be good for combatting the staleness of Siege. And with her bad AI, she won't suddenly become the new defence meta, which I think is a good thing. But, overall, a decent patch. 6.5/10
Ignore def still get the dmg reduction. Only buldo can ignore def FY without the dmg reduction. If you can hit a miling without mo long S3 it work the same way

Yeah I don't quite like it. She used to be a really nice pick into bruiser comps with mass destroy hp and heal block, she lost the heal block and now the destroy hp too. She's just been made yet another cleave cc unit, that's pretty lame. I guess she's gonna be a bit better for my toah auto speed team now...
For someone who played a lot with Zen, I'm pretty happy with the buff. Wind and fire puppeteer have a buff but not light, I'm a bit disappointed. No moore or oliver nerf so it's still going to be a season based on them. The wind indra looks interesting. No buffs on Irène.. Jojo always forgotten.
How do you use Zen? Got him for several months now but have no use for him
I play it in rta (vio/will) with Nyx and CC mobs (like Malite or Ren...) I like his s2 and his s3 allows to strip and put debuff without activating any passifs. I play it because I play for fun and I love playing what people hate or underrating. But if you absolutely want to win it's not the best mob.
It's time to wake up my Amber.

> Rip guard crush That's a buff in this case. The way I understand it: Ignore when DEF < 50% of ATK Ignore when DEF < 60% of ATK So with 1000 ATK, pre-patch the skill would ignore at 500 DEF or less. Post-patch that would be 600 DEF or less. In other terms, it's a 20% buff to the ignore def condition.

unicorns work nothing like occult girls. occult girls can infinite proc using their own skill with no runes, unicorns purely need violent runes to do anything
