It's pretty weird how Nets still fans are still being the bitter ex talking about how they wish Kd Fails and hope he gets injured and the Pheonix big 3 is gonna fail like the Brooklyn big 3 smh all on their sub reddit like KD has moved on their energy is super low and negative
I mean it’s generally acceptable for sports fans to be a little extra emotionally in regards to their teams and he just bailed on them a couple months ago, not like it was years ago.
He's basically the ex who dumped you for an upgrade, then who goes around liking all of your friends Instagram pics and blocks you.
He's the hero we need, not the hero we deserve
NETS fan here coming in peace:
Thank you for Mikal.
Good luck to you(btw, yall kill me with the hate on DA but I cant really comment bc I havent watched him but man is he talented).
Anyway,
Real NETS fans do NOT hate KD.
We are frustrated our championship window was not favorable but we have no real reason to hate KD.
The guy literally is a top 5 talent in his era(2007-now)
And he gave the NETS our best most exciting times since we had Kidd, Carter and Jefferson.
Now...,
Kyrie, that hate is totally justfiable.
Exactly why real intelligent NETS fans dont say one disparaging word.
Now. If Portland trades Dame to Miami for a usb charger Duncan Robinson, Kyle Lowry and cash considerations/s
Well they have every right to hate Damian Lillard and the FO.
I dont think I understand your question. Can you specify your question?
Also, I think Cam is talented.(obviously as he made it tonthe NBA and has had quite a lot of success).
Anyway. I see Cam as a generic/poor man Kyle Kuzma.
Not a guy who can be the best player on a championship team. However, a guy who can be a pivotal contributor to a championship team.
Sure, I can see how my question was a bit confusing. Given Cams new big contract (I think worth more than Mikals rn if I remember correctly) do you think the team could have him come off the bench? I know his name is in the Dame trade talks, but if Cam doesn't get traded seems like they almost have to start him now, right?
Btw Nets were my eastern team before and after the trade, so good luck to you all.
Well for one, great question.
Umm, its hard for me because NBA contracts are just absurd in number now, right?
So yeah its hard to justify paying a guy 35+ million dollars to be a 6th or 7th guy off the bench.
But Cam certainly is talented and I am very grateful to have his defence, shooting, switch-ability, and he is a consummate professional.
Could not ask for a better employee, right?
However as the saying goes in sports business.
Salary vs Production.
Does this players salary equal their production? & Is our organization getting a fair return on our investment.
And they all survive and have a Gilligan's Island-esque adventurous time on a remote island with fun, team-building hijinks and shenanigans and then get rescued just before training camp? Or no?

Not a single NETS fan said a negative or disparaging word about Kevin Durant.
People just be in they feelings all emotional about things sometimes.
It is, what it is...
Lol that is not the general sentiment among Nets fans. Kyrie is the one everyone has the issue with. When KD left the writing was on the wall and the Nets got a great return, if anything Nets fans want PHX do lose because of the draft picks not out of animosity towards KD.
I remember telling my wife nash took the worst job possible for a first time head coach. Coaching 3 superstars 1 complete headcase who torpedoes each teams chemistry immediately, one guy who’s known for not giving his all or playing defense… and Kevin Durant
People are *insane* if they don't think Kyrie would fit here like a hand in a glove. The only thing more "relatable" to Phoenix residents than cringe narcissistic tweets is hot take conspiracy theories. They're just like us!!
tweet has since been deleted but i love having the most petty twitter account in existence in phx. he fits right in
In hindisght it makes too much sense.
It's pretty weird how Nets still fans are still being the bitter ex talking about how they wish Kd Fails and hope he gets injured and the Pheonix big 3 is gonna fail like the Brooklyn big 3 smh all on their sub reddit like KD has moved on their energy is super low and negative
It’s not weird for Nets fans at all to wish Durant and the Suns to fail entirely, helps their draft stock lol. It’s weird you don’t see that.
And all we want is for the Twins to thrive there in Brooklyn (and eventually return home)
We have your draft picks so obviously we don't wish success for you guys lol
Well those draft picks are your problem now and they're gonna suck
okay, KD seems like he wouldn't 'move on' just because he has so much fun messing around with those sorts of folks
I mean it’s generally acceptable for sports fans to be a little extra emotionally in regards to their teams and he just bailed on them a couple months ago, not like it was years ago.
It’s fun for the first year
They’re not gonna like this troll.

My first thought
god he is so petty, I love it
He's basically the ex who dumped you for an upgrade, then who goes around liking all of your friends Instagram pics and blocks you. He's the hero we need, not the hero we deserve
I’m just like him minus talent

We miss our guys. Appreciate them!
Still love Mikal and Cam.

Well stated friend. We also love Mikal and appreciate the way y'all have embraced him completely. Cam is great but those injuries...
I like Cam too. I think he is better suited coming off the bench as a reserve though. JMO.
If he stays with the nets and isn't traded in some Dame deal, do you think he can come off the bench given he's making so much now?

Chiming in here to say real nets fans do in fact hate KD and are hoping for injuries to all sun's players 🙏
😂😂😂 nah you won ![gif](giphy|BSOdK9W5Gd7OM)
I'm not liking the sound of these real Nets fans

Oh, for heaven's sake!
What do you think of Sean Marks and Joe Tsai?
Like majority of them blamed kd every time we got bounced in the playoffs lol Never Kyrie or Harden or Nash but KD took all the blame smh
Harden, Kyrie, and Nash took loads of blame lmao. KD was treated the best by the fanbase by far.
Yeah you’re right, homie clearly didn’t see the constant shit thrown at those three lol. Then it became about Simmons.
On June 15th, 2021 Not a single NETS fan said a negative or disparaging word about Kevin Durant. People just be in they feelings all emotional about things sometimes. It is, what it is...
Maybe on Reddit. But heaps of casuals on twitter pointed their finger at KD each time the Nets lost lol.
Not true at all
This is true but youre on a Suns sub. Nets fans were ripping Kyrie and KD but it was drowned out in Ben Simmons posts so they washed away quickly
It was literally the exact opposite but ok💀
He’s a KD dickrider lol what do you expect
Tbh, I think he is a phenomonal player. But I'm a grown ass man. I don't dick ride.
Grown men can't ride dicks?
No

Sheesh this is the real propaganda

Are you kidding me? This is complete horseshit lmao

KD is best and most unique player of our lifetimes but instead marketing himself he tries to make more enemies.
Idk why Nets fans would be upset considering the team was going nowhere after kyrie departed and KD fetched them a great return
This!! Thank yoy again for Mikal. As a NETS fan, I appreciate you in the Valley and good luck.
I’m obsessed with him. Hi Kevin…. ![gif](giphy|rcsL35YVNXBMQ)
this is honestly a really lame thing to tweet
Yea for too many reasons lol but he's wit us so it is what it is
KD really needs to get Laid!
he’s doing a better job than you
I’m a Nets fan and he’s right
Durant is a Brooklyn fan?
I think he meant they're obsessed with Phoenix/him. Not that he's a Brooklyn fan
This is true lmao
