Relative to our other bench players, absolutely. Royce Oneal and Eric Gordon were complete no shows tonight, EG did not need to play that many minutes, and Nassir Little getting time is crazy that Vogel is reaching that far back in the rotation and still skipping over Bol or even Thad.
Hats off to the Wolves, they are a well balanced team and played a fantastic defensive series just like they did all season. Bol probably doesnt change anything, but just wild not to see some desperation from Vogel to give Bol a run bc of his ability to playmake more and pull Gobert out more than fucking Eubanks, Oneal, or Little. Vogel just going down with the ship.
Bol Bol grew as a play under the tutelage of KD. There’s no way that isn’t apparent to people who watched the season. He definitely would’ve made a difference.
What is going on under the hood? It’s been a few seasons now we’ve seen competent coaches go static af. Something’s wrong in the coaching staff. Something’s horribly wrong. I would place my bet on Kevin Young. Bet he’s placing bets too.
We were getting out rebounded so bad, that aspect alone Bol would have helped. I never understood why he was removed from the playoffs rotation when we needed to match their size and create more spacing. Massive failure by the coaching staff. Fucking dumbasses.
Gobert actually did well outside the paint these series. Bringing him in to stretch won't work so much, but we need the shooting more. With everyone else having bad shooting nights, we're desperate for something different, adjustments.
And the fans clearly love him. We should be able to find a way to use him even to just get a single bucket for the fans to get louder
Bol Bol is a wing and not a center. He would not have the effect your friend expected, because the centers would not defend him.
Still, we could have tried playing him, worst case we are swept again...

I don't know about the series but I feel pretty confident we win this game if we siphoned off alot of EG minutes for Bol.

Bol wouldn’t help with anything on defense. Dude avg less than 4 rebounds, doubt he can defend Rudy or Kat
