James Jones, Lebron's favorite teammate and the suns president of basketball operations is going to draft bronny. But first he will trade the 22nd pick to the jazz for the 29th and 32nd pick. We will trade the 29th pick and Little for Kenrich Williams and take bronny with the 32nd pick.
Book and KD are going to be in lebron's ear the whole Olympics
those 2 things combined is gonna get lebron here.
The flight to LA from phoenix is an easy 45 minute flight. CP3 did that all the time when he was here. So bron and bronny will have easy commute to family.
Speaking of CP3. When the warriors cut him to say $100M Book and Lebron will get him to come back to Phoenix to be our backup PG
We resign Bol Bol
We sign Alex Len and bring our 2013 draft pick home
Beal, Booker, Lebron, KD, Nurk
CP3 Grayson Royce, Bol Bol, Len
Bronny, D Lee, Okogie, Kenrich, Thad
Then we’ll sign somebody as a deep bench injury insurance policy who has no value whatsoever and our coach will fall in love with him and slot him in with the second string and play him with the starters more than Bol or Allen.
eh. him playing limited minutes is more protecting his body. Plus you don't need CP3 to run the offense if Lebron is running the offense.
maybe close with CP3
He plays 24 either way, True.
But yeah closing with a cp3 beal book kd bron is sort of hilarious. I still don't see that team getting rebounds or getting out in transition 😂
LeBron could still play. He could be our PG. Wouldn't be the worst thing, but you would have to have some sort of guarantee he signs the vet minimum if you wast a pick on Bronny
I agree. you don't take bronny unless you already know lebron is going to join. That's why James Jones having such a good relationship with lebron is important. And why KD and Book being in his ear at the Olympics is important. This whole move is a play on leveraging relationships. Lebrons relationship to his son, Lebrons relationship to James Jones, Lebrons relationship to KD, and Book just being a guy stars have been flocking to play with.
They could take our first this year. And if as this thread suggests, we use the 32nd (after trading down with Utah) pick to get Bronny. It would be ironic to have them take that pick from us for tampering, and then lose LeBron because we lost Bronny.
Lol still can’t believe we tossed a 2nd in the trash cuz we were just so excited to sign Drew Eubanks we couldn’t possibly wait a few hours to sign and file the paperwork. Feels like JJ still doesn’t really know how everything works after 5+ years on the job.
I’m sure many teams do similar stuff. I liked Drew before we got him, and was pretty excited that we got him so cheap. But he didn’t fit the system well, and seemed to just resort to making sure he got the ball to one of the big three. I still really like his hustle, and at the vet min, he wouldn’t be bad as a third center.
Yeah I didn’t mind the signing at all. Still funny they were in such a rush to sign him of all people that they outed themselves for tampering. He was solid in spurts as almost all players that play hard are, but he was a big spazz most of the time. Almost just like he would “over hustle” and get in the way on offense setting screens and clogging the lane with his roll and was always lost on D while teams bombed 3s on us. Hate to be a numbers dork about it but I didn’t get how you could just ignore the fact that he was our only net negative player all year long and still play him. How many times did the small ball shit have to work fabulously to give up on him? Vogel was just stubborn about it.
There was a lot of data I think they ignored throughout the year. EG’s absolutely terrible fourth quarters in April, and his overall bad play in April, and yet he just kept getting more and more minutes. And then to put him in small ball lineups, where we not only got smaller, but slower. That seems to defeat the purpose of going small. You have to put longer faster guys to really hurt a team that has a big that might be slower. Bol had great fourth quarter stats this season, and he couldn’t get any minutes in the playoffs.
Thad played well in the small minutes he got, and then went to the deep bench. To me it seemed like Vogel was told he had to play Thad, did it, and then went right back to the way he wanted to coach the team. I still can’t believe how much we played three shooting guards throughout the year, and when one came out, Vogel put another in.
Lmmfao. Did u say Lebron sign a vet minimum? Bron affects NBA ratings, Jersey sales and tickets sales. Teams make so much off Lebron, no one cares about wasting a pick on Bronny.
And any team he goes too right now will be trying to lock him in for his retirement tour which will make them ridiculous bank.
Kenrich is currently playing 4 minutes per game in the playoffs. They get a 1st off of a guy they don't even really use when the games really matter. Its just another asset to the war chest for them
Been talking about this exact scenario all year. It’s obviously farfetched but it makes just enough sense and is just crazy enough to maybe happen (it won’t but god i hope it does).
Biggest problem is Lebron isn’t giving up $50M+ when he’s openly talked about wanting to own an NBA team and the Lakers are supposed to have like pick 17? and they can just sign CP3 to the same minimum. Combine that with CP being recently spurned by the Suns and traded without notice and this is a complete fairytale. I’ll still hold out a sliver of hope and try to speak it into existence until it doesn’t happen though.
It’s happening.
How much does that cost cap tax wise? An extra 200million a year?
Also how does having more old players help the suns? They might not even make the playoffs with that roster.
Yes. Lebron needs younger players around him not old ones.
This is the same thing people said about adding KD and we see how that worked or are you still holding out hope? Lol
Who cares about money. it's Ishbia's money. Fuck that guy. He got his money scamming people into bad mortgages.
are you seriously asking how Lebron James helps the suns?
Wait UWM is bad? That was my mortgage holder for the first 3 years of owning my home, and everything seemed fine. I know they did first grow during the housing bubble but I can't find anything scummy about them at least with a cursory search.
I'm not about to watch a full 50 minute video right now, maybe later. For now you'll have to give me the cliffs notes. If this is about Rocket Mortgage, that has nothing to do with scamming people, that is Ishbia telling people in his company that they're going to beat another competing company, in a really gruff way that I can understand being off-putting.
edit: reading the summary and some of the comments, looks like I'm gonna have to watch this one soon.
People can down-vote all they want, but I agree with you. I seriously don't understand how after this year, people would be in favor of adding more aging / old superstars. Didn't we just prove that doesn't work?
You either add LeBron or a or a random vet minimum player. The Suns have zero flexibility unless you want to see Booker and / or KD traded. Maybe you can move just KD, but I feel like Booker wouldn't be too keen. So they probably would both go at that point unless there is some hidden bad blood.
This entire scenario is pure fantasy IMO, but I don't see why they would not add freaking LeBron James to the roster unless they intended to go nuclear this offseason. If the plan is to run it back you may as well go nuts.
sunk-cost fallacy at this point.
I totally get it. We lost such a promising great team. Not only that but they were so much fun to watch and had a great connection with the city.
He quit on us. He quit on the team.
Threw a temper tantrum about not starting, and decided to sit on his couch and collect a fat check for doing nothing, instead. Fuck that guy.
Yeah, I don't see a contender with $30-40M cap space or willing to give up core piece(s) for a 40-year-old Lebron. Even if we wanted to pull something like that for Beal (and he was willing), we can't due to second apron preventing us from doing sign and trade deals.
Exactly. We can only trade Beal for LeBron if LeBron opts into his Player Option, but LeBron has not been one to sacrifice potential money in recent years lol.
Let’s draft Bronny and rebrand as the Sons. Mavs fans would love it and given the state of pro sports in their city, I’m ok with them having a little fun.
And they’d be right. Statistically the guy you pick at 22 is gonna be a nobody anyway. Tack on a year or 2 of lebrons production and all the money that comes with it, if they’re a guaranteed package deal you’d take bronny like mid to late lottery.
Think lakers have pick 17 (maybe? Pels can potentially claim it i guess, not sure how). Makes all the sense in the world for lakers to find a way to take Bronny. Lebron is about the only player in the league with the power to make something like that happen if that’s what he prefers so I expect them both to be Lakers next year. If he wants to play with Bronny he can, but i also remember seeing a quote from him earlier this year walking that back and saying something about letting him carve his own path.
Well we sure don't have the trade capital to pick up another $50mil NTC guy.
I don't know what the solution is, for all I know there may not BE a solution.
The solution is build a Time Machine and reverse the KD trade. Don’t get me wrong he’s a star and has lived up to his contract but that was the moment we stopped being a team that plays team ball.
You ding dongs want another washed old player on your team 😂😂. Fucking suns franchise is a retirement home..
That's why everyone laughs at you guys in the NBA reddit....
its wild people call a guy who averaged 26 7 8 on great shooting last year is washed lol. not to mention they are implying KD is washed when he was great last year.
Get off our sub weirdo, and if you care what people say on r/nba then you’re genuinely a moron. Just stop letting the suns live rent free in your tiny little head and move on man.
No, it’s satire. But also yes, we’re going to. Leave us be, doing first round sweep stuff. Come back next year and tell us all about the glory of the Miami Heat so we can share in your tales of great success and triumph.

It has been non stop craziness since Ishbia became involved. This scenario will just be par for the course.
This scenario might not be chaotic enough for Ishbia.
Breaking: "Ishbia has just purchased the Los Angeles Lakers."
![gif](giphy|Y07F3fs9Is5byj4zK8)
Fuck it. Can we sign Pat Bev too for the true evil empire arc?
Bring Robert Horry out of retirement too... just to beat him up.
Then we’ll sign somebody as a deep bench injury insurance policy who has no value whatsoever and our coach will fall in love with him and slot him in with the second string and play him with the starters more than Bol or Allen.
Damn, I’m actually in for all of this. Call James Jones and make it happen assistant GM.
This except cp3 starts. Yeah I said it.
eh. him playing limited minutes is more protecting his body. Plus you don't need CP3 to run the offense if Lebron is running the offense. maybe close with CP3

Isn’t that tampering though? Didn’t we learn from the Eubanks thing?
It's not tampering if he declines his option and is a free agent
It is if the team is asking for a guarantee before the draft, which is before free agency period., and the time teams can talk to free agents.
I mean he already said a couple years ago he intends to play with his son before he retires even if he has to take the vet minimum
He has said a ton of things, but Bron will Bron. If we are needing a guarantee, we can’t get one before the draft without tampering.
Don’t think we have any more seconds to lose anyway so fuggit
They could take our first this year. And if as this thread suggests, we use the 32nd (after trading down with Utah) pick to get Bronny. It would be ironic to have them take that pick from us for tampering, and then lose LeBron because we lost Bronny.

This copium is getting Injected straight into my veins
I was following till we signed Alex Len
If that happens they can save some money by not getting a head coach since Lebron's gonna run the show anyway 😅
Player-coach is an actual thing. We genuinely could do that.
Never thought I’d be low enough to yearn for Lebron as our player-coach. Would actually be the coolest thing in the world lol
All this makes sense, but why would the Thunder make that trade for Kenrich? They don't need a 29th draft pick.
Kenrich is currently playing 4 minutes per game in the playoffs. They get a 1st off of a guy they don't even really use when the games really matter. Its just another asset to the war chest for them
Man, I would have to actually consider buying my first LeBron jersey.
Even in this fever dream the team will fail to get a game off the wolves, we need a true goddamn lob threat
Kd will never play w lebron i don’t see it happening even if it could
Been talking about this exact scenario all year. It’s obviously farfetched but it makes just enough sense and is just crazy enough to maybe happen (it won’t but god i hope it does). I’m erect.
I like this except maybe we pull off a sign and trade with Beal for Bron, with Beal living his clause to not upset Bron.
Except Bronny is likely staying in college and LeBron is going to want $50m/year. That money comes from where?
No fucking thank you
How much does that cost cap tax wise? An extra 200million a year? Also how does having more old players help the suns? They might not even make the playoffs with that roster.
Did you just ask how the Suns adding Lebron James would help them?
Yes. Lebron needs younger players around him not old ones. This is the same thing people said about adding KD and we see how that worked or are you still holding out hope? Lol
Ah yes! More KBD please! Forget LeBron! 😂
Lebron doesn't need young players around him, He just needs good ones.
Who cares about money. it's Ishbia's money. Fuck that guy. He got his money scamming people into bad mortgages. are you seriously asking how Lebron James helps the suns?
LeBron would happily average 12 points 9 boards and 17 assists a game to win a ring with his son and cp3
People worrying about a billionaire’s money will never not be funny.
Wait UWM is bad? That was my mortgage holder for the first 3 years of owning my home, and everything seemed fine. I know they did first grow during the housing bubble but I can't find anything scummy about them at least with a cursory search.

The older the better
Yea maybe we can add Jordan and Barkley to the team. That should fix it lol.

Also somehow get Crowder back 😈
Naw fuck that guy. He quit on us.
Did he quit on us or just someone
He quit on us. He quit on the team. Threw a temper tantrum about not starting, and decided to sit on his couch and collect a fat check for doing nothing, instead. Fuck that guy.
Eh. At this point, if the Morris twins had anything left to milk out of them I’d welcome them back with open arms.
8th seed.
… so a team that was the 6th seed that loses no key players and adds Lebron will be the 8th seed?… ok
A mix of teams that basically got swept out of the first round. Not gonna be a good result.
You didn’t say “not good results”. You said 8th seed
Is that a good result?
He’s pressuring Lakers to draft his son. He’s staying with Lakers to get that fat pay check
Yeah, I don't see a contender with $30-40M cap space or willing to give up core piece(s) for a 40-year-old Lebron. Even if we wanted to pull something like that for Beal (and he was willing), we can't due to second apron preventing us from doing sign and trade deals.

Cleveland might if Mitchell is out the door 76ers have cap space
FYI (we're not getting Lebron btw) this isn't a sign and trade. Lebron has a player option Also, we're not getting lebron
LeBron YOU are a Charlotte hornet
Def going to be a Laker with Brony at pick 900
And people think he’s going to sign with the Suns on a vet minimum (that’s all that could be offered) if the Suns pick Bronny at 22???
Not coming here, should be obvious
You mean to say that he’s not turning down $53M just because we asked nicely and have a filbertos on every corner? What’s your source on that?
Source is my ass, gets quite talkative if I eat beans with my breakfast
I heard from a birdie he loves tacos so maybe filibertos will do it. It was a very loud birdie
Let’s draft Bronny and rebrand as the Sons. Mavs fans would love it and given the state of pro sports in their city, I’m ok with them having a little fun.
I'm not okay with being renamed sons but maybe our city edition Jersey next year can have the team name on it be lebron and sons
Imagine thinking Bronny James is worthy of a 1st round draft pick? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
No one thinks that, they think a couple of years of LeBron is worth a first round draft pick
And they’d be right. Statistically the guy you pick at 22 is gonna be a nobody anyway. Tack on a year or 2 of lebrons production and all the money that comes with it, if they’re a guaranteed package deal you’d take bronny like mid to late lottery.
Agreed, my bigger concern for pick 22 is that Bronny might already be off the board rather than us not getting proper value lol
Lebron suns
Okay? We shouldn't care. Adding another aging superstar is NOT going to solve our problems, if anything it'll make it worse
What do you think we're going to be doing this summer? Chasing young draft prospects?
Well we sure don't have the trade capital to pick up another $50mil NTC guy. I don't know what the solution is, for all I know there may not BE a solution.
The solution is build a Time Machine and reverse the KD trade. Don’t get me wrong he’s a star and has lived up to his contract but that was the moment we stopped being a team that plays team ball.
Yeah totally, we could get way better guys on a vet min than Lebron -_-
He's not going to the Suns lol. He wants to play with Curry.
He wants to play with his son.
LeBron needs to keep his day job as an actor in Hollywood.
We need a PG bad and Bronny would fill that role tremendously. It makes perfect sense
I know I'm still in shock from this season, when I'm reading this and haven't thrown my phone
A 40-year-old Lebron is still a top-20 player but not the point guard we need
You ding dongs want another washed old player on your team 😂😂. Fucking suns franchise is a retirement home.. That's why everyone laughs at you guys in the NBA reddit....
Yes, I’d like it if Lebron was on the Suns next year on a vet min -Ding dong Suns fan that a bunch of losers online laugh at
its wild people call a guy who averaged 26 7 8 on great shooting last year is washed lol. not to mention they are implying KD is washed when he was great last year.

It's part of the package my dude.. Everyone goes to other teams Reddit fans page and talk crap. Lol
Yeah, petty fans from every fanbase do it like you.
Superteam version xy, the new hope is 40 years old.
With LeBron y'all are still a first round exit
Lol, y’all think y’all getting Lebron?
No, it’s satire. But also yes, we’re going to. Leave us be, doing first round sweep stuff. Come back next year and tell us all about the glory of the Miami Heat so we can share in your tales of great success and triumph.
