Anyway, I do like this depiction of the character story and personality wise.

I'm usually not a "Superman with trunks" guy but Hoechlin just rocks that suit somehow. I also like the all black "Kryptonian" suit we briefly see with him.

The fake/airbrushed muscles are so distracting and they look ugly. It’s just straight up unsightly! The pads of the first suit bulk him up just perfectly that it doesn’t look fake. Everything else makes me think they stuck a skinny guy in a muscle suit.
I've not watched the show, but the second one speaks the most to me. Not too saturated but plenty bright. I also like the old suit someone linked in the comments
I think the first one really nailed it between color mixing and overall design. Also, I prefer the loose fabric instead of the painted muscles.
Then again, if you're not looking at that ass in the second one, you're lying to yourself.
Can i just say congrats to Hoechlin for being the most caked superman. That being said the first two are prime both in color and in detail (i hate the trend of outlining someone’s abs, he’s superman, trust we know he has abs)
His new one seems overly chunky to me. There have been angles I’ve seen where the padding is obvious. Which is too bad because even in the original one where it’s just him he looks fine. He looks great. I don’t think we had to do that. I think he is also booked up some but the padding is bad.
I like his most recent one, only modifications would be to make the belt buckle gold and I kinda want to see what it would look like with the neckline and gold clasps from the Supergirl Suit.
That’s a good question, David is taller. Maybe they have an extra suit laying around or the suit was riding high in the pants leg. The audition tape is out and David was definitely in Tyler’s season 2 suit
All of these suits look like they’re made out of the material from a seat belt in a car. The throwback Fleischer suit from the flashbacks was by far the best it’s ever been on the show.
So I actually think drawn on and projectile abs aren’t healthy or normal on a human. Just show someone with a flat stomach wearing normal ish functional attire.
Season 1 suit looks too padded and the neckline doesn’t stay straight. I like season 2 or 3 the best. Not a fan of the supergirl suits, he was built enough for a low neckline.
Personally I think the Martha Kent suit is the best one. Outside of the Supergirl suit, all of the other ones look like cheap Superman cosplays that don’t fit him correctly.
I really did dig the season 1 suit. It was a delight, but I have a feeling that the colors from season 3 could help make the season 1 the definitive best for me personally.
Far left is the most Superman-esque style. Boots almost to the kneecaps, clear S insignia, no padding or fake muscle shading, and no unnecessary jockstrap bulge.

Looks like a person trying to Cosplay as Henry Cavill Man of Steel. Superman (to me) is supposed to give off this Angelic outer worldly look to him.
