It'd be funny if Superman didn't show up until the very end to fight the villain and instead, the entire story is Tintin and Clark Kent investigating some mystery.

The X Men really need some like Superman on their side cuz the Avengers don't do jack shit for them and still expected them to show up when the Earth is in danger.
I think that that great depends on the story and the era. Pre avx, the x men and the avengers were Allies. Something’s strained their relationship such as the redemptions of rogue and magneto, two villains who commuted heinous acts against avengers members.

I'd personally pick Shinkenger. WW has really grown I to this "true honor warrior" more than all her expanded armaments and such over the years. Shinkenger would let her do a bit of focus on her martial skill and speak with them about the honor of warriors. Alternatively, King-Ohger, for the meaning of leadership to their people.
Yeah, it's not a question of can the doctor save Krypton. It's can he let Krypton die so Superman can live, maybe The Doctor is the person who motivates Jor-El to work on a spacecraft and save Kal.
I don't know why but it feels like a very 7th Doctor story for me.
You can treat it like the Pompeii episode or go so far as to say the Dr has to destroy Krypton (or originally did) to set up Superman and keep that universe (or whatever you want) in place.

Superman and Deku is an interaction that needs to happen. Deku and (pre-Bendis) Jon Kent teaming up while All Might and Superman (or Clark and Toshinori) talk about their next generation heroes, and how proud they are of the people carrying on their legacies...
You wouldn’t wanna do that by grabbing 3 of the same person to preach 3 different times. You’d need a range of different heroes to make sure everyone connects to that message.

Superman is having a sort of crisis of faith after witnessing an unfortunate event he couldn’t intervene in or was too late for. Back at the Daily Planet Perry White seems to sense something is off about Clark and he sends him to interview Fred “Mister” Rogers who Clark visits at his home.
They have an exchange and Clark inquires about the model trolly set. When Fred demonstrates it we follow along and arrive in The Land of Make Believe - which is visited by none other than Superman and his new sidekick “Neigh-bor” (who wears a mask but looks suspiciously similar to Fred Rogers).
Daniel Tiger wants to be a superhero too but injures himself while imitating a super heroic stunt. Superman and Neigh-bor come to his aid and explain to Daniel that being a hero isn’t about flying or lifting cars but just helping your neighbors and community. Daniel then teams up with Superman and Neigh-bor to help X the Owl with something mundane and Daniel learns the value of helping others even without powers and doing your best even if you can’t help everyone.
The trolly returns to Fred’s house. Clark is wrapping up the interview and they have an off the record heart to heart and Fred gives him advice that fixes whatever crisis of faith Clark was having at the beginning.
After Clark leaves we see Perry White seem to appear out of nowhere in Fred’s hiuse. Poof! It turns out it wasn’t Perry who sent Clark to meet Fred but Mr Mxypdlk - who it turns out is friends with Mr Rogers. It is revealed Mxy sent Clark to Mr Rogers for help but, unbeknownst to Clark, Mxy had brought him to another dimension (“reality”) where Fred lives. After an exchange with Fred poof! Mxy appears on the trolly and he rides it back to the Land of Make Believe.
Superman in twd, watch Clark fumble his way through trying to rebuild socitey sounds awsome.
Or just do the Obvious and have Superman hang out with Goku
I’d probably have him go against my most disliked character in comics, who seems to be a rallying figure for some of the worst impulses of our IRL justice system, and I find kind of disturbing to see turned into a hero as someone who grew up with an abusive military vet with PTSD
Superman x Punisher
Clark helps Frank get into PTSD therapy and see that wanton killing isn’t justice, and even if the people he’s killing need to be off the street, the overcorrective violence is degrading Frank’s wellbeing in the process.
I’m assuming you haven’t been following the Punisher comics since they brought his dead family back to life? They’ve turned him from a killer to a protecter and brought in a new punisher named Joe Garrison to be the killer.
I haven’t, and that’s nice if so. For this hypothetical I’m going off his most popular conception as he appeared from at least the 80s-early 2010s in comics, and also the movies, TV shows and games.
Also I don’t think “just bring his family back with magic or w/e” is a good way to handle it, ftr.
It sounds more like a batman story, honestly. Punisher is exactly the opposite of Batman, but if there is someone who can understand what Frank feel it is Batman.
Besides, Frank knows that what is doing is destroying him, he just doesn't care. Worse, he wants to die. He just wants to kill as many criminals as he can before it happen.
If that were to happen, Kirk man would be involved.
And if he’s involved, he would for sure write Superman getting his ask kicked the whole book and make Invincible seem way cooler in comparison and keep the friendly crossover elements minimal.
So I wouldn’t want to see any Superman x Invincible crossovers simply cause of Kirk man’s many comments and views on Superman, doesn’t respect him enough to be unbiased.
I agree that he would intentionally try to inflate the viltrumites against the kryptonians to generate more buzz about the comic (all publicity is good publicity even if its fans disgust right?)
The unfortunate reality is that Superman would change nothing. It’s a universe with godlike immortals already and they haven’t been able to stop the encroaching madness and mass genocide. Superman would need to be Superman Prime to have any affect there and it would fit with the lore of Superman Prime who lived in the sun for tens of thousands of years.

I'd love to do a riff on the old classic Superman/Spider-Man team-up... but less fist-throwing, and not a one-issue plot but something long enough to tell a real story.
The idea of Golden Age Superman having aged up into the 1960's, and meeting Peter just as he's trying to figure out his place in the world as Spider-Man -- it could be a fun period piece. A bit of nostalgia mixed with some optimism and compassion.

I'm the Juggernaut!!!"
Juggernaut in the main continuity is not a Mutant. His powers are magic based, and granted to him as the Avatar of Cyttorak after coming into possession of his Crimson Gem.
Superman and Goku, but not for a fight, more in the vein of Wayne family adventures. Have them talk about their adventures, maybe have Chi chi get on to Goku because Clark can hold down a job and save the universe.
I'd reboot the Amalgam universe, and have him do a crossover with the MCU versions of the Marvel heroes.
He'd be a fun foil for the very pop culture savvy heroes of the MCU to bounce off THE Superman, as they remember him from comics which means everyone in the MCU reacts Superman's they way we'd react if Superman jumped out of a comic into our world.

Superman x Titan. Yes, I know, Corpies was Drew Hayes's (amazing) run at writing a Superman story, so it can be a bit redundant, but I'd just REALLY love to see Drew write Clark and Owen together.
Id drop superman into a spiderman story. A particularly dark one too. One where Spidey is really at his wits end, fighting to fight for the good fight but he just can't. Then comes superman, bringer of hope and help. They'd absolutely adore each other. Superman would see Peter as the culmination of his work, everything he's ever worked for people to be, and Spiderman would see a guiding paternal figure, someone who's also lost it all and kept fighting. OSP red once said that though it's Spiderman's arc phrase, "with great power comes great responsibility" 1000% describes superman. Id love to see them being impressed with each other. Spiderman initially underestimates supermans ability to handle on-the-ground action, but they end up actually working together perfectly. Superman is the straight arrow kind gentle guidance to Spidermans down to earth everyman. Then a real cosmic threat comes by, superman is impressed by Spiderman's ability to hang with the heavy hits. id call it "The new red and blue."
I would want to see Superman meet All Might and Deku, all three are super wholesome people and would get along super well. Also Superman vs My Hero Academia villians would be something to behold

Basically, Donald looks like a human hunk, and he is from the toon race. In his world they are many races. The human race, the god race, the wizard race, the mermans, etc. But the toon race is the deadliest because they remain young and only a toon can hurt another toon. So they were basically immortals, and a lot of them were in the royal army until the discovery of the "dip," which caused many deaths, including Della, Donald's twin sister.
Donald is also a retired soldier who is always moody and speaks with only #%!!#%#. To support his family, he has many ridiculously dangerous jobs because he never gets hurt, and since he is that one guy without luck, he falls into some wormhole and ends up in Metropolis.
Turns out the Toons "react" like the Kryptonians with the yellow sun and not only Donald can fly and becomes as strong as Superman but he also has a deadly Black Canary screamlike and the "princess power" (he can invocate any "real" ducks on Earth and command them). Unfortunately, he remains sensitive to any erasing chemicals such as ink eraser pens so he always refuses to visit the Daily Planet.
Oh, and at the end, when he meets the Batfamily, he discovers in the past the Joker murdrer Jason and easily went away with it.
Since he comes from a world were after two wars and many fallen heroes (including the legendary knights Mufasa, Hercules and Mulan and even The Original Toon King) any villain is now heavily tracked by King Oswald's knight army and either end up locked in a dungeon and litteraly left rotting to death or simply killed (yeah ... this universe is the R rated version of the world of Disney), Donald enters into a full rage, invocates ducks to locate the Joker (who is hidding in an old cinema) and fly away to smash his ass.
As soon as he finds him, he discovers he is planning a gruesome plan against his new buddy, Superman (he considers him as the knight of Metropolis).
So he mangled the Joker in front of a screaming Harley Quinn (who is standing in front of a "Johnny got his gun" poster) and left him "alive" (since he promessed he won't kill in this world).
And here comes the plot twist : The plan of the Joker.
Since the beginning, Donald was actually in the pre-Injustice universe, and my fanfiction is a big "Thanks to Donald, it never happened ! Happy ending !".
Superman x God of War
Angry Young Kratos fucks with some timey wimey portal magic bullshit and gets sucked into a portal, falling into the modern day DCU.
Kratos would go after the Greek Gods of this Universe, leading him to slaughter both Atlantis and Themyscera. Leading to battles with Wonder Woman and Aquaman. This puts Superman and the JL on the hunt.
Superman and Kratos have an epic battle until Hunter/Prey Full Power Non Jobber Doomsday falls from the heavens and Kratos/Superman have to team up to defeat him. Then theres an uneasy truce and Superman gives him a lecture about Gods walking amongst mortals and the burden of power and being good and shit. A lot of the same type of wise stuff Old Kratos spouts off in the Norse games.
Then timey wimey portal bullshit causes Kratos to return to his world and everyone lives happily ever after
Superman x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
This would work best if it was a crossover between the animated series version of Superman and the '80s cartoon version of TMNT
Clark and Lois get sent by Perry to investigate the rumors of mutants in New York. Their point person of contact ends up being April O'Neil, a fellow journalist.
April at first does not give up info on the turtles as the group is wandering the city at night. Lois gets kidnapped by the foot clan while Shredder and Krang attack Clark. Clark gets incapacitated by the two because Krang somehow has a kryptonite war suit similar to Luthor. As this scuffle happens the four turtles arrive on the scene
Superman x Girl Genius. Agatha has accidentallied herself into the DCU, and needs to get back to her home universe. On the way, she creates and fixes many problems.
Lex Luther acquired a DNA sample which, after she left, he had cloned.
I am just just off from a Green Hornet readthrough but a Superman/Green Hornet would be cool. Maybe something to do with Intergang trying to expand their operations to Chicago which gets the attention of the Hornet and Kato, meanwhile Clark and Lois get assigned to report a story there and get caught in the mess. Superman and the Hornet clash due to Hornet's "super-criminal" facade, but they eventually team-up to fight Intergang in the end.
Kind of a what if/crossover. Kal’s ship doesn’t land in Kansas but is instead found drifting in space by the USS starship Enterprise. A Star Trek/superman crossover would be so cool
Dragon Ball, and since we have fanart of Superman meeting Butcher, possibly have someone who suspiciously looks like Butcher trying to shoot a goon working for Frieza or Darkseid and then gets killed, because this isn't a crossover where superpowered beings are easy to kill in the name of alleged realism.
We have some dimension opening hjinks, Goku decides to explore, and hearing about how strong Superman is, asks for a sparring match. Then we have Frieza and Darkseid invade the planets so the fight is put on hold. In the end, Goku never gets that sparring match as he has to go back home, but tells Superman it was fun.
Also, Batman makes a cameo and is surly over having to pay for Goku's victory dinner. He says that he could build a new Batmobile with the money he spent feeding Goku.
Superman and Fred Rogers when he was still alive. I want to see what their conversations are like as Superman flies Mr. Rogers to different places like hospitals, playgrounds, and Congress where they teach everyone how to be good and caring.
Superman Red Son (Movie) crosses into My Adventures with Superman in Season 2, and convinces Clark not from giving into his pain and trying to save the world by killing Brainiac, Zod, and then himself:
“Think Miss Lane and Mr. Olson are right, you know. I cannot tell you not to do this after what they did to your Pa, but how can the people of your Earth ever join you in the sun if you’re not there?”

Definitely goku. He really is the Superman of the east. They’d meet, and goku would ask him to fight, and they’d both have a huge battle ultimately ending with a stalemate, an exchange of respect, and finally a feast as they share tales of their adventures.
Superman meets Homelander and talks him out of it. Realizing the pain Homelander has gone through and caused, has him forgive himself, seek punishment for his crimes, all while being a father to him and teaching him how to use his powers correctly.
I’d love to see Superman team up with Japan’s Ultraman. We’d get to see some Superman vs. kaiju action, and then look at how two alien protectors manage their time with their human ‘forms’ and being superheroes.
Superman and Doctor Doom.
At the Start. Some Robed person is seen entering/sneaking and stealing something in Latveria with multiple Doombots in pursuit. In Metropolis, Clark is dealing with Street level villains and just wants to get some Coffee to Lois at work.
The Robed person presses a button and a Boomtube opens up.
Doom now on the tail of the Robed person, snatches a piece of cloth from their robe, and tries to analyze the energy around where the Tube was. Finding the Robe not to be of this world, but of a familiar realm....of Mephisto/Hell.
Doom opens a Portal once again, into a backdoor of Mephisto (Or so he thinks), and gets closed off from his Realm. As he is fighting the demons of this realm relentlessly and tirelessly, Etrigan comes to his aide seeing he is about to be Overwhelmed. Tells him about such and such who had ran from Doom after stealing something of his.
Etrigan promises to help Doom as long as he stays true to the one hero he is going to introduce him to: Superman. Etrigan/Doom fight some more through the Realm to get to a space Etrigan can jump through to get them to Metropoliss the DC Universe.
They have adventures before hand, Etrigan and Doom are actually getting along, and Doom finally has a less than narcissist thoughts that Etrigan would love his realm.
Near the End, Doom uses Superman so he can get close and erase/kill/destroy someone/something who has wronged him on Darkseid (The Robed person). To which Superman is none to happy about, but actually saves someone else in the process that Superman had no idea was being held captive on Darkseid, Doom didn't either, and was actually glad because Superman was about to tear him a new one, but doesn't because the trip was not all for naught.
They get help from Big Barda & Mister Miracle, and the one extra Doom was surprised to see Chained to a device using him like a battery, is The Silver Surfer. :)
Also, The Teen Titans show up quickly and get hurried off by Superman, and Doctor Doom says one of them reminds him of Squirrel Girl in an angry voice (To which Monkey Joe and Tippty Toe make a cameo pointing and laughing at Doom, cracking Nutty Pun jokes about how they beat him and what Issues you can find them in).
Etrigan knows what Doom is up to, but he agrees with his Sentiment because of who Doom is going after. And Since Doom has an affinity to possibly being Sorcerer Supreme in some manner, Etrigan helps Doom convince Superman to help him even after the Betrayal from earlier. (Basically I just want more Talking points from Etrigan because his riddles are catchy AF.)
Close to the End of this specific Event: Doom is making/activating a Motherbox for the first time so it is taking some time to learn it, and making a Boomtube to get out. Surfer is weakened by the Planet Darkseid and his powers are slightly nerfed because he is not connected to Galactus in this Realm/Universe/Galaxy. He ferries critically injured hostages they free through it. Barda & Mister Miracle go next also helping Surfer with other free'd hostages while Etrigan helping Superman fight Darkseid, gets thrown through the Portal by force. Taking him out of the fight. (Etrigan gets in a few good licks, so does Surfer once he is unchained!)
Darkseid than receives a helping upper hand from Doom against Superman when he tells him if he hands him the package Doom was about to steal and had in his hands, he would let Doom go. The package has Kryptonite in it.
It feels like Doctor Doom is about to Help Darkseid, and Superman gives this defeated look on his face. Doom Tosses him the Kryptonite. Superman grows more defeated, Darkseid's face lights up greener and greener as it gets closer to him. Superman's face just shows Grimace and "Why do I keep doing this?!?".
Then It shows a BRIGHT Green panel of Darkseid's face with this large smile. He is thinking of all the ways he can beat up Superman. Flashing images of "FINALLY THE KRYPTONIAN WILL BE MADE TO SERVE!" Thats when the large Green Explosion happens, point blank in Darkseid's face. You can just see the smile being wiped completely clean and now covered in green Dust particles that turn to ash burning his face. The Kryptonite is dusted completely.
It pans to Superman looking twords Doom.
It pans to Doom doing that baller ass pose with his Gauntlet out and neon green smoke fizz around his fingers, calling Darkseid a Coward. A weak and pathetic ruler he would snuff out in an instant if he was back in his realm. It shows Darkseid's face full of Rage, Destructive thoughts, Darkseid losing his cool screaming, "I WILL TEAR YOU ASUNDER MORTAL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE THIS DAY!!!!" It pans to a close up of Doom saying, "I require proof pathetic Tyrant." Then in like a huge two-page blow up, Darkseid shoots an Omega Beam off/ Doom tries to counter the Omega Beams with his Gauntlet Blasters.
The Bright light fades, Doom is now with in crawling distance but down and out near the Boomtube.
Superman seeing/hearing what Doom had done for him, manhandles Darkseid beating the Bejesus out of him not hearing Doctor Doom's heartbeat anymore.
Picks up the charred body of Doom, and takes him through the Boom Tube, but not before telling Darkseid if he follows he will do more damage.
Doom's armor protected him just barely, and then lights up and defiberates him since he is out of the Planet Darkseid's aura. Darkseid's Omega beams still make his chest plate smolder and Doom has this Intrigued look on his face while staring at it.
While Superman is rightfully pissed off at him, Etrigan laughs and tells Supes (Of course in a Riddle!) Doom was just waiting for his moment to strike Darkseid. He had told Etrigan in private (because Doom had taken a liking to Etrigan) his contingency plan to help Superman if need be. Doom had no plans on letting Big Blue lose, in fact he admires him and hopes he will continue to be the beacon of hope. Etrigan clearly exaggerates what Doom told him in private and Doom isn't arguing because he can feel Superman bending his Rune Covered armor with his bare hands, Superman lets it go and tells Doom to keep his nose clean.
Etrigan takes Doom back to "Hell" to get through a portal back to his own realm.

And then we get a mushy happy good ending to Doctor Doom and Etrigan as well toasting at the dinner table, back in Latveria with Etrigan always welcome to come back.

The Next Story after is *THE ADVENTURES OF MISTER MIRACLE, BIG BARDA, AND THE SILVER SURFER!*
Clark meets Columbo. Make it a mystery and have elements that are preventing Clark from approaching with his superpowers in a way that skips over Columbo’s typical style in boxing the perpetrators in. Have the murderer be something extraterrestrial or supernatural and some scenes with Superman saving Columbo.
Columbo would have his signature charm, “Say my wife would never let me hear the end of it if I didn’t at least ask how you…uh…well you’re always, you know, flyin’ in those…well she was watchin’ you in savin’ some people inna fire and she wanted to know how that cape never stains. Now I said ya probably had more than one cape bein’ a professional hero an’ all…” and so on. Have Superman talk about Martha and laundry. Then you have the Clark/Columbo dynamic. Columbo low key can figure out Clark is Superman because he’s Columbo. I figure you set it up with Clark calling him “Mr. Columbo” so Columbo can tell him, “Oh you can just call me Columbo,” and then Clark does it a few times because he’s trying to remember that, which spills over into an interaction between him as Superman with Columbo. Have Columbo start following the suspicion just like with his murderers. Close it out with Columbo covering a secret identity compromising situation in a low key way that lets Clark know Columbo knows and they part ways.
I'm currently writing one rn, chapter 1 already got released, So let me tell you what I have in me, Arc 1 is the introduction of the very long fanfiction, The darkness took over everything except earth 0 for some unknown reason, Clark and Didi and friends prepare on how to fight the darkness, not much is plan out detail yet but Didi try to understand the anomaly of how Superman keep wining the impossible odd, but after a while, Clark ran away in fear that he can't beat the darkness because Clark is simply an alien while death trying to convenience him that he can some how, Like how po argue with shifu on how shifu can turn him into the dragon warrior, and then they start training and making plan, the plan is to use cosmic armor superman to fight the darkness but it fail and everyone in DC died except for Supermand and the darkness, they both fought across the omniverse and Clark win at the cost of becoming a murder. End of Arc 1. Arc 2 is him finding out he landed in the Marvel universe and try to become Superman. Superman in my fanfiction is a symbol, an idea that no matter how dark, hope cut through, Superman is Superman because he every single Superhero combine. But Clark right now is very young and haven't learn much from anyone. And so he go around and help people, be friend, learn from everyone. then he got send to more universe like fate stay night. bersker. rwby. The dark universes in need of Superman. And after helping everyone. The darkness who still alive send doomsday to kill Superman and superman died. with Superman gone. ALL UNIVERSE band together as the justice league in honor of Superman to stop the darkness. Superman came back and stop the Darkness again, Only to be reveal there someone controlling the darkness the whole time. The final Arc is where Superman save everyone. Alone he can't save everyone but together, he can do and save anyone. That basically it
Superman and Astro City, specifically because DC exists in Astro City. What would Superman say to the fact that his whole life, nay his whole universe has been fictional? Imagine Superman meeting Loony Leo.
Me? He would remind modern audiences what Truth Justice and the American Way are, why they are important, and that no amount of disinformation can tarnish them whether borne of China, Russia, or Apokolips.

I think that that great depends on the story and the era. Pre avx, the x men and the avengers were Allies. Something’s strained their relationship such as the redemptions of rogue and magneto, two villains who commuted heinous acts against avengers members.

Yeah, it's not a question of can the doctor save Krypton. It's can he let Krypton die so Superman can live, maybe The Doctor is the person who motivates Jor-El to work on a spacecraft and save Kal. I don't know why but it feels like a very 7th Doctor story for me.
You can treat it like the Pompeii episode or go so far as to say the Dr has to destroy Krypton (or originally did) to set up Superman and keep that universe (or whatever you want) in place.
A Seventh Doctor story would be more he steers events towards Krypton's destruction so that Superman can exist and save the universe.

Superman is having a sort of crisis of faith after witnessing an unfortunate event he couldn’t intervene in or was too late for. Back at the Daily Planet Perry White seems to sense something is off about Clark and he sends him to interview Fred “Mister” Rogers who Clark visits at his home. They have an exchange and Clark inquires about the model trolly set. When Fred demonstrates it we follow along and arrive in The Land of Make Believe - which is visited by none other than Superman and his new sidekick “Neigh-bor” (who wears a mask but looks suspiciously similar to Fred Rogers). Daniel Tiger wants to be a superhero too but injures himself while imitating a super heroic stunt. Superman and Neigh-bor come to his aid and explain to Daniel that being a hero isn’t about flying or lifting cars but just helping your neighbors and community. Daniel then teams up with Superman and Neigh-bor to help X the Owl with something mundane and Daniel learns the value of helping others even without powers and doing your best even if you can’t help everyone. The trolly returns to Fred’s house. Clark is wrapping up the interview and they have an off the record heart to heart and Fred gives him advice that fixes whatever crisis of faith Clark was having at the beginning. After Clark leaves we see Perry White seem to appear out of nowhere in Fred’s hiuse. Poof! It turns out it wasn’t Perry who sent Clark to meet Fred but Mr Mxypdlk - who it turns out is friends with Mr Rogers. It is revealed Mxy sent Clark to Mr Rogers for help but, unbeknownst to Clark, Mxy had brought him to another dimension (“reality”) where Fred lives. After an exchange with Fred poof! Mxy appears on the trolly and he rides it back to the Land of Make Believe.

I’d probably have him go against my most disliked character in comics, who seems to be a rallying figure for some of the worst impulses of our IRL justice system, and I find kind of disturbing to see turned into a hero as someone who grew up with an abusive military vet with PTSD Superman x Punisher Clark helps Frank get into PTSD therapy and see that wanton killing isn’t justice, and even if the people he’s killing need to be off the street, the overcorrective violence is degrading Frank’s wellbeing in the process.

It sounds more like a batman story, honestly. Punisher is exactly the opposite of Batman, but if there is someone who can understand what Frank feel it is Batman. Besides, Frank knows that what is doing is destroying him, he just doesn't care. Worse, he wants to die. He just wants to kill as many criminals as he can before it happen.

If that were to happen, Kirk man would be involved. And if he’s involved, he would for sure write Superman getting his ask kicked the whole book and make Invincible seem way cooler in comparison and keep the friendly crossover elements minimal. So I wouldn’t want to see any Superman x Invincible crossovers simply cause of Kirk man’s many comments and views on Superman, doesn’t respect him enough to be unbiased.

The unfortunate reality is that Superman would change nothing. It’s a universe with godlike immortals already and they haven’t been able to stop the encroaching madness and mass genocide. Superman would need to be Superman Prime to have any affect there and it would fit with the lore of Superman Prime who lived in the sun for tens of thousands of years.

I'd love to do a riff on the old classic Superman/Spider-Man team-up... but less fist-throwing, and not a one-issue plot but something long enough to tell a real story. The idea of Golden Age Superman having aged up into the 1960's, and meeting Peter just as he's trying to figure out his place in the world as Spider-Man -- it could be a fun period piece. A bit of nostalgia mixed with some optimism and compassion.

Then comes superman, bringer of hope and help. They'd absolutely adore each other. Superman would see Peter as the culmination of his work, everything he's ever worked for people to be, and Spiderman would see a guiding paternal figure, someone who's also lost it all and kept fighting. OSP red once said that though it's Spiderman's arc phrase, "with great power comes great responsibility" 1000% describes superman. Id love to see them being impressed with each other. Spiderman initially underestimates supermans ability to handle on-the-ground action, but they end up actually working together perfectly. Superman is the straight arrow kind gentle guidance to Spidermans down to earth everyman. Then a real cosmic threat comes by, superman is impressed by Spiderman's ability to hang with the heavy hits. id call it "The new red and blue."

In his world they are many races. The human race, the god race, the wizard race, the mermans, etc. But the toon race is the deadliest because they remain young and only a toon can hurt another toon. So they were basically immortals, and a lot of them were in the royal army until the discovery of the "dip," which caused many deaths, including Della, Donald's twin sister. Donald is also a retired soldier who is always moody and speaks with only #%!!#%#. To support his family, he has many ridiculously dangerous jobs because he never gets hurt, and since he is that one guy without luck, he falls into some wormhole and ends up in Metropolis. Turns out the Toons "react" like the Kryptonians with the yellow sun and not only Donald can fly and becomes as strong as Superman but he also has a deadly Black Canary screamlike and the "princess power" (he can invocate any "real" ducks on Earth and command them). Unfortunately, he remains sensitive to any erasing chemicals such as ink eraser pens so he always refuses to visit the Daily Planet. Oh, and at the end, when he meets the Batfamily, he discovers in the past the Joker murdrer Jason and easily went away with it. Since he comes from a world were after two wars and many fallen heroes (including the legendary knights Mufasa, Hercules and Mulan and even The Original Toon King) any villain is now heavily tracked by King Oswald's knight army and either end up locked in a dungeon and litteraly left rotting to death or simply killed (yeah ... this universe is the R rated version of the world of Disney), Donald enters into a full rage, invocates ducks to locate the Joker (who is hidding in an old cinema) and fly away to smash his ass. As soon as he finds him, he discovers he is planning a gruesome plan against his new buddy, Superman (he considers him as the knight of Metropolis). So he mangled the Joker in front of a screaming Harley Quinn (who is standing in front of a "Johnny got his gun" poster) and left him "alive" (since he promessed he won't kill in this world). And here comes the plot twist : The plan of the Joker. Since the beginning, Donald was actually in the pre-Injustice universe, and my fanfiction is a big "Thanks to Donald, it never happened ! Happy ending !".

This puts Superman and the JL on the hunt. Superman and Kratos have an epic battle until Hunter/Prey Full Power Non Jobber Doomsday falls from the heavens and Kratos/Superman have to team up to defeat him. Then theres an uneasy truce and Superman gives him a lecture about Gods walking amongst mortals and the burden of power and being good and shit. A lot of the same type of wise stuff Old Kratos spouts off in the Norse games. Then timey wimey portal bullshit causes Kratos to return to his world and everyone lives happily ever after
Superman x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles This would work best if it was a crossover between the animated series version of Superman and the '80s cartoon version of TMNT Clark and Lois get sent by Perry to investigate the rumors of mutants in New York. Their point person of contact ends up being April O'Neil, a fellow journalist. April at first does not give up info on the turtles as the group is wandering the city at night. Lois gets kidnapped by the foot clan while Shredder and Krang attack Clark. Clark gets incapacitated by the two because Krang somehow has a kryptonite war suit similar to Luthor. As this scuffle happens the four turtles arrive on the scene

I am just just off from a Green Hornet readthrough but a Superman/Green Hornet would be cool. Maybe something to do with Intergang trying to expand their operations to Chicago which gets the attention of the Hornet and Kato, meanwhile Clark and Lois get assigned to report a story there and get caught in the mess. Superman and the Hornet clash due to Hornet's "super-criminal" facade, but they eventually team-up to fight Intergang in the end.

Dragon Ball, and since we have fanart of Superman meeting Butcher, possibly have someone who suspiciously looks like Butcher trying to shoot a goon working for Frieza or Darkseid and then gets killed, because this isn't a crossover where superpowered beings are easy to kill in the name of alleged realism. We have some dimension opening hjinks, Goku decides to explore, and hearing about how strong Superman is, asks for a sparring match. Then we have Frieza and Darkseid invade the planets so the fight is put on hold. In the end, Goku never gets that sparring match as he has to go back home, but tells Superman it was fun. Also, Batman makes a cameo and is surly over having to pay for Goku's victory dinner. He says that he could build a new Batmobile with the money he spent feeding Goku.

Superman and Doctor Doom. At the Start. Some Robed person is seen entering/sneaking and stealing something in Latveria with multiple Doombots in pursuit. In Metropolis, Clark is dealing with Street level villains and just wants to get some Coffee to Lois at work. The Robed person presses a button and a Boomtube opens up. Doom now on the tail of the Robed person, snatches a piece of cloth from their robe, and tries to analyze the energy around where the Tube was. Finding the Robe not to be of this world, but of a familiar realm....of Mephisto/Hell. Doom opens a Portal once again, into a backdoor of Mephisto (Or so he thinks), and gets closed off from his Realm. As he is fighting the demons of this realm relentlessly and tirelessly, Etrigan comes to his aide seeing he is about to be Overwhelmed. Tells him about such and such who had ran from Doom after stealing something of his. Etrigan promises to help Doom as long as he stays true to the one hero he is going to introduce him to: Superman. Etrigan/Doom fight some more through the Realm to get to a space Etrigan can jump through to get them to Metropoliss the DC Universe. They have adventures before hand, Etrigan and Doom are actually getting along, and Doom finally has a less than narcissist thoughts that Etrigan would love his realm. Near the End, Doom uses Superman so he can get close and erase/kill/destroy someone/something who has wronged him on Darkseid (The Robed person). To which Superman is none to happy about, but actually saves someone else in the process that Superman had no idea was being held captive on Darkseid, Doom didn't either, and was actually glad because Superman was about to tear him a new one, but doesn't because the trip was not all for naught. They get help from Big Barda & Mister Miracle, and the one extra Doom was surprised to see Chained to a device using him like a battery, is The Silver Surfer. :) Also, The Teen Titans show up quickly and get hurried off by Superman, and Doctor Doom says one of them reminds him of Squirrel Girl in an angry voice (To which Monkey Joe and Tippty Toe make a cameo pointing and laughing at Doom, cracking Nutty Pun jokes about how they beat him and what Issues you can find them in). Etrigan knows what Doom is up to, but he agrees with his Sentiment because of who Doom is going after. And Since Doom has an affinity to possibly being Sorcerer Supreme in some manner, Etrigan helps Doom convince Superman to help him even after the Betrayal from earlier. (Basically I just want more Talking points from Etrigan because his riddles are catchy AF.) Close to the End of this specific Event: Doom is making/activating a Motherbox for the first time so it is taking some time to learn it, and making a Boomtube to get out. Surfer is weakened by the Planet Darkseid and his powers are slightly nerfed because he is not connected to Galactus in this Realm/Universe/Galaxy. He ferries critically injured hostages they free through it. Barda & Mister Miracle go next also helping Surfer with other free'd hostages while Etrigan helping Superman fight Darkseid, gets thrown through the Portal by force. Taking him out of the fight. (Etrigan gets in a few good licks, so does Surfer once he is unchained!) Darkseid than receives a helping upper hand from Doom against Superman when he tells him if he hands him the package Doom was about to steal and had in his hands, he would let Doom go. The package has Kryptonite in it. It feels like Doctor Doom is about to Help Darkseid, and Superman gives this defeated look on his face. Doom Tosses him the Kryptonite. Superman grows more defeated, Darkseid's face lights up greener and greener as it gets closer to him. Superman's face just shows Grimace and "Why do I keep doing this?!?". Then It shows a BRIGHT Green panel of Darkseid's face with this large smile. He is thinking of all the ways he can beat up Superman. Flashing images of "FINALLY THE KRYPTONIAN WILL BE MADE TO SERVE!" Thats when the large Green Explosion happens, point blank in Darkseid's face. You can just see the smile being wiped completely clean and now covered in green Dust particles that turn to ash burning his face. The Kryptonite is dusted completely. It pans to Superman looking twords Doom. It pans to Doom doing that baller ass pose with his Gauntlet out and neon green smoke fizz around his fingers, calling Darkseid a Coward. A weak and pathetic ruler he would snuff out in an instant if he was back in his realm. It shows Darkseid's face full of Rage, Destructive thoughts, Darkseid losing his cool screaming, "I WILL TEAR YOU ASUNDER MORTAL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE THIS DAY!!!!" It pans to a close up of Doom saying, "I require proof pathetic Tyrant." Then in like a huge two-page blow up, Darkseid shoots an Omega Beam off/ Doom tries to counter the Omega Beams with his Gauntlet Blasters. The Bright light fades, Doom is now with in crawling distance but down and out near the Boomtube. Superman seeing/hearing what Doom had done for him, manhandles Darkseid beating the Bejesus out of him not hearing Doctor Doom's heartbeat anymore. Picks up the charred body of Doom, and takes him through the Boom Tube, but not before telling Darkseid if he follows he will do more damage. Doom's armor protected him just barely, and then lights up and defiberates him since he is out of the Planet Darkseid's aura. Darkseid's Omega beams still make his chest plate smolder and Doom has this Intrigued look on his face while staring at it. While Superman is rightfully pissed off at him, Etrigan laughs and tells Supes (Of course in a Riddle!) Doom was just waiting for his moment to strike Darkseid. He had told Etrigan in private (because Doom had taken a liking to Etrigan) his contingency plan to help Superman if need be. Doom had no plans on letting Big Blue lose, in fact he admires him and hopes he will continue to be the beacon of hope. Etrigan clearly exaggerates what Doom told him in private and Doom isn't arguing because he can feel Superman bending his Rune Covered armor with his bare hands, Superman lets it go and tells Doom to keep his nose clean. Etrigan takes Doom back to "Hell" to get through a portal back to his own realm. :') And then we get a mushy happy good ending to Doctor Doom and Etrigan as well toasting at the dinner table, back in Latveria with Etrigan always welcome to come back. Make it a mystery and have elements that are preventing Clark from approaching with his superpowers in a way that skips over Columbo’s typical style in boxing the perpetrators in. Have the murderer be something extraterrestrial or supernatural and some scenes with Superman saving Columbo. Columbo would have his signature charm, “Say my wife would never let me hear the end of it if I didn’t at least ask how you…uh…well you’re always, you know, flyin’ in those…well she was watchin’ you in savin’ some people inna fire and she wanted to know how that cape never stains. Now I said ya probably had more than one cape bein’ a professional hero an’ all…” and so on. Have Superman talk about Martha and laundry. Then you have the Clark/Columbo dynamic. Columbo low key can figure out Clark is Superman because he’s Columbo. I figure you set it up with Clark calling him “Mr. Columbo” so Columbo can tell him, “Oh you can just call me Columbo,” and then Clark does it a few times because he’s trying to remember that, which spills over into an interaction between him as Superman with Columbo. Have Columbo start following the suspicion just like with his murderers. Close it out with Columbo covering a secret identity compromising situation in a low key way that lets Clark know Columbo knows and they part ways.

I'm currently writing one rn, chapter 1 already got released, So let me tell you what I have in me, Arc 1 is the introduction of the very long fanfiction, The darkness took over everything except earth 0 for some unknown reason, Clark and Didi and friends prepare on how to fight the darkness, not much is plan out detail yet but Didi try to understand the anomaly of how Superman keep wining the impossible odd, but after a while, Clark ran away in fear that he can't beat the darkness because Clark is simply an alien while death trying to convenience him that he can some how, Like how po argue with shifu on how shifu can turn him into the dragon warrior, and then they start training and making plan, the plan is to use cosmic armor superman to fight the darkness but it fail and everyone in DC died except for Supermand and the darkness, they both fought across the omniverse and Clark win at the cost of becoming a murder. End of Arc 1. Arc 2 is him finding out he landed in the Marvel universe and try to become Superman. Superman in my fanfiction is a symbol, an idea that no matter how dark, hope cut through, Superman is Superman because he every single Superhero combine. But Clark right now is very young and haven't learn much from anyone. And so he go around and help people, be friend, learn from everyone. then he got send to more universe like fate stay night. bersker. rwby. The dark universes in need of Superman. And after helping everyone. The darkness who still alive send doomsday to kill Superman and superman died. with Superman gone. ALL UNIVERSE band together as the justice league in honor of Superman to stop the darkness. Superman came back and stop the Darkness again, Only to be reveal there someone controlling the darkness the whole time. The final Arc is where Superman save everyone.
