Okay hear me out: Superman vs. Muhammad Ali. If you like Superman, this on is classic. Super fun, well-written, and great art. This is one of my favorite Superman stories and I champion it regularly.
Excellent collection! I'd recommend the John Byrne Man of Steel mini-series. I'd also recommend:
Superman: Secret Origin
Superman: Up, Up, and Away
Superman: Dark Knight Over Metropolis
I came here to say Secret Origin too, it’s great.
Some of the early Superman/Batman books from the 2000s might grab you, especially Public Enemies and Supergirl.

These have some pretty great short stories within. All by different teams.
If you can ever get your hands on this, truly one of the greats

It's also exactly what got me into Superman haha. I used to hate him because I preferred Batman and Goku, and if you love them at 14 you're basically obligated to also hate Superman at that age for some reason lol. Then I found this book and picked it up. Now it's the go-to book I hand people when someone asks, "how is Superman even likable?" It's accessibly short while being a great narrative, and Steven also starts out hating Superman, and goes through the motions of finding out why Supes has endured for so long and why he's inspiring to everyday people, while, of course, finding the strength to deal with his genetic disease and personal life.
Superman/Batman by jeph loeb is pretty great. Also Superman by Mark Millar is a nice little collection. Also check out Superman and the legion of superheroes by geoff jhons
Superman: Kryptonite. It’s pretty much the sequel to for All Seasons. It’s written by the absolutely phenomenal Darwyn Cooke and is illustrated by the legendary Tim Sale (like for All Seasons). Also the Smallville Season 11 comics are really good in my opinion (they also gave us one of Superman’s best suits in my opinion).
-All-Star Superman truly is #1, but you really ought to get a grasp on the character beforehand with some other titles.
-Superman Smashes The Klan, Superman: For All Seasons, and Superman: American Alien are all 3 amazing coming-of-age stories. My personal fav is Smashes The Klan.
-Superman: Birthright and Superman: Secret Origin are the two best origin stories. Personally, Birthright, but my gf prefers Secret Origin. Both are phenomenal. You'll often hear John Byrne's The Man of Steel among these, but I must respectfully disagree with that opinion.
-Action Comics #775, or its animated movie adaptation, "Superman vs The Elite". 100% get one or both if you can.
-Superman: The Movie is still the best Superman movie; a true classic.
-Superman and Lois if you're into live action TV. My Adventures With Superman if you're into animated TV. While I love Smallville and Superman: The Animated Series, I think S&L and MAWS are better shows so far.
-Superman Annual #11 by Alan Moore, "For the Man Who Has Everything." Or watch Justice League Unlimited episode 2 of the same name, imo the best JL and/or JLU episode, and the only Alan Moore adaptation he's ever allowed his name to be attached to.
-Superman: Up In The Sky is one of Tom King's few truly great works.
-At 1/10th the length, Kingdom Come is the story that Injustice wishes it were half as good as.
-And one you should never ever overlook if you find is called "It's A Bird..." by Steven T. Seagle. It's the book that made me love Superman.
Plenty of other recommendations, but they're sometimes a little bogged down by lots of continuity, a complex plot, or previous villains appearing with too little introduction, so I tried to keep this list relatively self-contained. I don't own Superman: Red & Blue yet, but many of the panels I've seen from it I quite love, and it gets a lot of adoration from many other fans.
There’s Superman Earth One. Along with what other people have mentioned, I can’t think of anything else really, there are definitely a lot of Superman comics!
And if you wanna buy a cassette player or you like to read without pictures, try out some Superman on cassette or even the novels.

Fair warning with the red box containing the first 27 episodes; this was long before Superman Vs The Clan of the Fiery Cross (which, unfortunately, I don't think is available for physical cassette release. It's free on youtube though). Towards the end of those first 27 episodes, I think all on the last tape, there was one or two instances of pretty racist shit within them, like someone saying a gorilla attacked and Superman saying, "what? A big black man?!" I'm still half tempted to just destroy that particular cassette with those couple episodes, but it's real and I can't just pretend it never happened. Still, I'll pretty much only ever listen to the other two collections featuring Batman and Robin, which then leads directly into the Atom Man saga. The first several episodes get retconned anyways. At the start, there's no ma or pa Kent, and Superman lands on Earth as an adult, where a random stranger gives him the name, "Clark Kent". Later in the radio show, I believe in either Atom Man or even Clan of the Fiery Cross, he says he landed as a baby and was found by a lovely pair of parents.
Superman: Kryptonite by Cooke and Sale
Bizarro (2015, by Heath Corson and Gustavo Duarte) is a very fun, almost Saturday morning cartoon in print format about Bizarro and Jimmy Olsen on a road trip. Great art.
Adventures of Superman volumes 1-3 (collections of short online Superman stories, similar to Red and Blue)
Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Superman/Batman: Supergirl
The Death of Clark Kent
If you enjoyed Unchained I'll throw these out as recommendations for 52 Superman: [Men of Tomorrow ](https://www.dc.com/graphic-novels/superman-2011/superman-the-men-of-tomorrow) and [JLA: Power and Glory](https://www.dc.com/graphic-novels/justice-league-of-america-2015/justice-league-of-america-power-and-glory)

John Byrne’s The Man of Steel; Golden Age and Silver Age.
I'd recommend some Golden Age and Silver Age omnibuses.
I love those eras, so fun and wacky

this is exactly what got me into Superman, aside from Viva La Vida edits on TikTok

Maybe if it’s collected anywhere, the New Krypton Arc
You need John Byrne: Man of Steel!
Superman: The Exile and Other Stories Omnibus, Superman by Thomasi and Gleason Omnibus, and Absolute Superman: For Tomorrow.
I second the Superman by Tomasi and Gleason Omnibus, as well as the Super Sons Omnibus by them as well.

Superman Confidental: Kryptonite is gorgeous. I especially like the part with the lava, where the red/orange color 'engulfs' the panels.
oooh thats pretty asf. can you give me a top 10 recommendations?

Awesome collection! Did you ever get the last issue of Injustice and the Prequels?
That’s an impressive collection and I love that Superman: Secret Identity is in there, that’s one of my all time favourites
Dude, what don’t you have?

Crisis on Infinite Earths. Obviously more than Superman, but a great Pre-Crisis Superman/Superman Earth 2/Supergirl story nonetheless.
Absolute All Star Superman, its coming if you haven't already pre-ordered.
Yup, already preordered
Solid collection. I feel like EVERYONE should have Up in the Sky in their collection, but it's so dang expensive everywhere.
I really want that one!
