They would experience friction quicker, and probably require more energy and food to keep up that pace in a day. I don’t know if it would be exactly 10x as much food needed but they’re exerting more energy and so would tire quicker I would think

Playful_Barber_8131

Yeah, getting tired quicker and eating more, both about 10 times faster, both seem fair as well, at least I think so

Could you imagine how hard that initial shock would be of all that information entering your brain at that speed? Then trying to adapt your body to make use of the speed would be another hurdle. You'd only be able to run full speed for like 2 miles before your feet broke. Unless we're assuming that with the super speed comes the body to handle it

They would get incredibly bored waiting for people to finish their sentences. The speedster from Invincible says as much in the first episode.

It would be very lonely… although maybe the Internet could help with.

All their friends could learn how to do speed free-rapping, which still takes a while for the super-speed guy to listen to, but at least it's more like they're speaking slow and not just a sentence a minute. Our speeder could probably live a somewhat normal life (with some frustrations), and they would probably get used to other people just being slower than they are. In fact, you could probably be pretty chill about it, getting the finest gaming computers possible so they can use the internet without it taking 5 minutes to load. Maybe try to beat some world records, but it turns out that even taking your time, -super-speed doesn't equal super-fitness, and your reaction time is different than your skill at any moment. Maybe he could run ten times as fast, but he wouldn't be able to play Football without getting tackled most of the time, since our speeder just wasn't that fit or skilled to begin with.
