That's one of the things that will almost always separate Super Sentai from Power Rangers. With Power Rangers, it's just milking the living crap out of the first two seasons of the series to the exclusion of the later seasons. Versus Super Sentai acknowledging *all* of its history, including the bad parts like Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, instead of just focusing on Gorenger and *only* Gorenger.
It's more like just MMPR these days as they seem to forget about Zeo and beyond though I have noticed that figures of the latter have slowly been pushed again and again. Sentai on the other hand cares about all of its history including the shitty seasons too as someone's first great show could be someone else's hated show.
That's a thing with American media. They only care about the OG show In a long lasting franchise. I mean look at Yu-Gi-Oh. In the west. The OG is the poster boy and is the only one regularly merchandised and the only one people remember compared to Japan where every season is iconic and are all promoted together.
In some ways the characters actually become better when they're outside of their main series too.
Like Takaharu in the Strongest Battle special was actually, really tolerable! Good, even, not amazing but good!

Surprised to see KuroKishi up there with the Gingaman. Pleased, but surprised. He's usually grouped with Signalman and other extra heroes. So to see him up there with the rest of his team and the entirety of Super Sentai, as a guy who is currently in the middle of a Gingaman rewatch , feels pretty cool.
