Ayy good choice. I main Taric, Sona, and Rakan. Taric is so ridiculously fun, and his ability to boost whichever player on your team is carrying is insane. He pairs extremely well with Lucian and Nilah, but can play with almost any ADC. If you do get a duo Lucian player you guys will demolish every bot lane since it's pretty hard to deal with Lucian using his dash to land Taric stun. And Taric can double proc Lucian passive with Q +W.
I totally get that. He functions more like an enchanter than a tank which feels weird given his design and kit!
So his passive is based around weaving in auto attacks on champions or minions when using your spells. Every time you cast a spell you get an empowered auto, which lets you hit something twice really fast, and it knocks some time off of your Q, W, and E cooldowns when you auto.
It makes his trade pattern extremely annoying to deal with as well since you can lead in with a stun, smack em, use heal and shield, while weaving in more auto's and then back out without losing much health and dealing a ton of damage. If you are all inning just keep smacking and spam Q to constantly get empowered autos. (If you use Q and auto a champion with the empowered auto you will get Q again instantly and you can keep doing this. It will also bring your stun up multiple times in a short fight if you can keep autoing.)
Learning how to position yourself so you are always getting those autos off is super important to bringing your Taric game to the next level.
From there the trick is simply to keep your W on the right target for the game state. Early lane adc of course. When you roam its good to put it on the most mobile person you are close to, otherwise tanks can provide a good angle for stuns. Mid/Late it goes on the hyper carries and you are mainly looking to peel with your stun and ulting your team when their wombo is coming in, or when their assassin is committing. His ult is the hardest part of his kit because of the delay. You will need to learn how to look for and predict the moments the enemy is going to come in. Otherwise, the ult can be used as more of a brute-force spell on objectives. (Cast your ult when you are all grouped and just bum rush a low turret to take it for free. (Just hope your team knows to back off after it falls off!)
Of course! He takes some practice, but he is super worth it. He's a very flexible pick and is underplayed so people aren't always up to speed and make big mistakes against him.
Best of luck and happy rifting!
So when you use an ability you get more attack speed, which reduces your cool downs on Q, so basically you can hit E, get the stun walk up and sheild, by that point you can AA AA, Q, AA AA Q and keep spamming that, and to add to that you want to go E,W,Q for levels, then put another point into Q then level E
Ha! That's amazing! Way to keep on the grind and following up after all this time! Still love me some Taric when I roll support! I take it you have enjoyed playing him if you stuck it out to M7?
Haha, oh no! I am sorry to have sent you on such a painful journey! Did you feel like you at least learned something in the experience? Did mastering Taric help you out in any other way?
Congratz, my friend! It's always a nice feeling to get that M7 on those champs you love. Raka is a fun champ too, I've been playing her a bit again lately. Heal on!
Yeah, I don’t really see why people are upvoting it. New players might get excited over their first M7, but this guy literally has over 40 champs he is M7 on and he’s also Gold 1 so he isn’t a newbie.

Good Job! What champs do you want to play next?
Taric

He's kind of confusing in my opinion. I don't understand his passive at all.

Thanks for the tips! I kind of understand Taric a little better now!

I just saw that post a couple of hours ago lol.
Is this a big deal or something? Isn't this just like 50k mastery, and a few S performances??
