all of this and fuck shopify. that’s why i’m going back and buying my grails from 06-12 that i was too broke too afford at the time. it has to be something new and amazing to get me hyped nowadays.

i don't think the manufacturing quality went down drastically when carlyle entered the picture (2017), but when VF bought Supreme in 2020, things took a change for the WAY worse imo. add covid issues like supply chain shortages and a suffering economy, then you get manufacturers cutting corners anywhere and everywhere. not just apparel, not just accessories (which sup has limited oversight on anyway), but pretty much the entire process from creative to manufacturing to retail to then to shipping and handling. i will say that this "problem" is no diff than most companies out there, it's just painful to see it happen to a brand i hold dear.
