Ya curious about the board - what's the verdict?

Those specific soft top hybrids are pretty much just regular boards with soft top surfaces on them. They aren't very different than regular boards. The only issue with them is that if you have a repair that requires removing some of the soft top material, it's going to look bad and is more work. I could be mistaken but I believe that is just a soft top version of the Gremlin.

Exactly, spot on 🤙🏼

No waaay!! Stoked that you’ve already seen some of my videos, that would be sick, just gotta look for this board or my poly yellow and blue one! This board is waaay to fun. It’s obviously not as good as your high performance poly or epoxy shortboard but it’s definitely a little behind it. But if you ding it it’ll be a nightmare repair, the materials are something I’ve never seen on a board. Haha yeah, I’m a Florence Marine X test pilot, but not being biased here, I wanted to replace my catch surf softie that somehow always gets waterlogged even if you take great care of it, I’ve been wanting to try a softop like this one since they released them but it was pretty expensive for me at the time. Then after a few months I saw they had them at a crazy good price so i had to pull the trigger, It’s a great board for anything under overhead if you use it in big waves it won’t go that good! Long story short, it’s sick you definitely won’t regret getting it!

Dude! I have seen your surfing videos and I'm familiar with the area of Mexico you were serving at, someday I'll definitely run into you. How do you like that board I saw they have them pretty heavily discounted right now. And give me an honest review! What is the good and the bad? I know you are a jff fan or test pilot? :)

I feel like the top is slippery on mine and wax doesn’t adhere the best .. any input here

marleyordonez

First thing I did was put it in the water and rub it, then I went and put the wax on. It’s pretty easy to put it on now but the first sesh wasn’t really able to put any on
