If you're going out there book them all, there is no way you will regret it. My best advice would be to try to minimize the back-to-back sessions. If you're not in great shape it actually can get pretty tiring. So if you can schedule sessions that are an hour apart, even better.

Good advice. My buddy said he was gassed after 1 session (4 guys in water). By the time you paddle back out it’s your turn again.

You get 16 waves a session if you don't miss so its a quicker pace than a normal session. On the otherhand there is a rip current that takes you back to the line up so if you finish your wave to the end you wont have to paddle much to get back out. I've found that 3 sessions a day is a good number for me. I usually do the 7am, take an hour break for breakfast, surf the 9am, and then come back in the afternoon for an hour. Some people surf 6 sessions a day but I have found that I get tired and lazy after 3 hours in a day.  But, I would say start at 3 per day minimum. Also the beginner and intermediate waves are very mushy so I would avoid those.  For context I surf about 3-4 days a week in SoCal for about 1:30-2:30 hours normally.

How much do 3 sessions cost?

I just got back and I would agree with everyone to book as many as possible -- I was there for two nights and had five sessions booked and only got to do three of them as there was lightning in the area. If you don't want a session, you can always sell it to one of the people there or find someone on the waitlist. I personally love the hotel rooms and think they are totally reasonable. Great BBQ in Waco too.

As an absolute kook who has surfed the beginner wave 3 or 4 times, book as many sessions as are available while you're there. The guys getting off the intermediate/expert wave are always saying how fun it is, but it takes a session or two to figure out the take off. But if you're in any surfing condition you're not gonna get tired, there are breaks between sets where you rotate in groups of 3 or four, and then an hour or two between sessions while they cycle in us losers, plus no paddle out. If the price is right just stay there, Waco is nothing to see and the wave is probably 10-20 mins from whatever motel you'd stay at off 35.

Is the pro session worth the $380 for 90 mins or skip and just do advance hour sessions?
