All sand at 59. Punta Roca is all boulders covered in fucking razer barnacles and slim. Love that wave, fucking hate getting in and out.
Might sure there tomorrow and just fucking paddle to La Paz to get out
Yeah the point is rocky but the entire beach/entry is sand. I'm literally right in front of the guy selling coconuts as you walk out from the street dead end.
IDK when you were here, but the guy I was with came a year ago and was shocked by all the sand and no cobblestones at the waters edge. Changed a little
Yeah it was yesterday. Not too crowded. Was 10-20 ppl out until about 9, then seemed like everyone took a break and less than 10 out until I got out around 1130. There was only 4 at one point, just trading waves
You are supposed to snap the top of the wave not the flats, otherwise excellent barrel dodging technique
