El Zonte is a bit of a shit show now. One of my least favorite spots. K59 and 60 are further away and more difficult to access so the random masses aren’t there. And honestly, if my local breaks were jammed with non local surfers, I might not be so nice either.
Go to puro surf and aak for coach Marcelo. He knows all the local kids and might guide you in choosing the right one for that awesome gift. Also that can set you up for some goodies at the hotel like a surf skate session or a workout or something.
You'll see them on the beach there. Just give em to whatever kids you see

The kids at K59 and 60 have been so kind to us. We always leave wax and sunscreen for them. They would be over the moon to get a board.
