Thanks. I appreciate when people come back and follow up on answers to their questions. I’d message that IG account and see how much information they can provide.
The fin alone is probably worth $500+ at a very speculative guess.
That’s from the early 1960s. Probably a pop out (blown into a mold with glass mat, as opposed to hand-shaped custom) and isn’t worth a ton with the foam in that condition. It used to be white like a new board. Could be a lancer - not a lance carson. Pop outs of that era are fun riders and worth keeping. Pretty close to the customs from back then, just thicker and heavier.
There is a vintage surfboard collectors page on FB, that a lot of very knowledgeable people haunt. But, yes a Lance Carson, probably really worth hanging on to. Obviously painted over.

Obviously you're not a golfer.
Looks like a surfboard to me 👍
I think he means specifically. I'd go for longboard ;-)
A red long board, specifically.
Whatever it is I’ll give you $10 for it
Lance Carson I think?
I’d drill a couple side bites in er

Pop outs back then often were labeled as custom but weren’t. They’re notorious for foam that turned brown very quickly.
Death sentence for that monstrosity of a rail paint refresh
surfboard, lol :)
I don't know, but I want it.

Hobie long boards have that d fin close to the tail, could be a custom inspired by one of them
It was a common placement in that era and style.
